China to pay 'great importance' to relations with India: Xi Jinping.

 don't overrate your country. India is in absolutely no position whatsoever to challenge China in anything. India is surrounded by enemies externally and internally. India can't even play hardball with Pakistan and you think India can take on China? B**ch please!
If China decides to turn up the heat, India will be running to America for help. China has been playing nice with everyone because the liberals have been in power since the death of Mao. Just wait for the day conservatives take power again, there won't be warnings, just straight up action. That's the day China builds military bases around India regardless of what India thinks and starts supporting your separatist groups with funds and arms. They are the type that shoots first and talk later (group that led from 1949-1976). China has been
That's one group of leaders India and the other countries (Vietnam, Philippines, Japan and America) never want to see come to power in China.

As the learned men (like me) says, "never believe a commie regime". :D

Yeah. so when i'm saying that, you should trust me. One has to be insanely retard to be the head of politburo. You can cite Sitaram Yechuri and Prakash Karat as an example.

You're just pissed that our "commie regime" (in name only) has achieved a lot for us... while West Bengal's "commie regime" (in name only) has turned India's cultural and intellectual capital into a place that even other Indians laugh at.

True story, unfortunately. Communists screwed up one of the greatest states in India.

You should return to China, you would be a great help there.

Nay, no need to do that if one has a heart for its people. You know, only someone who has some integrity will then under what I am saying.

LOLOL... uncountable Bapus!

hope new leadership work with their senses.... they must keep in mind that India will reflect their behavior.

Friendly china will face friendly India
Co-operative china will face co-operative India
aggressive china will face aggressive India
Needling china will face needling India

Sounds like a tit-for-tat Saas Bahu releation!

everyone does,China is general regarded as a hardworking and quick action oriented country, see how fast China can make things happen,on the contrary,I think Indian politicians talk and promise too much, they dont know actions speak louder than words.

"You could say India, with more farmland than PRC, produces less than what PRC claims to produce."

Some analysts at the FAO are trying to get a better read on China's rice stockpiles. They say the rising imports, and high domestic prices, suggest that stockpiles may not be as high as previously thought.

The rising imports have caused the FAO to question its own estimate of China's rice inventories. Currently, the group projects that China will have 93.7 million tons of rice in storage at the end of September. This would be enough to feed China for 8.5 months—the highest on record.

"We think the estimate is probably too high," Mr. Fang said, adding that the FAO is working with the Chinese government and will revise the data after conducting field surveys and analyses. There is no official data on China's grain stockpiles, as much is hoarded by individual farmers and difficult to count.

China Rice Imports Upset Global Market - WSJ.com

China is getting increasingly getting short of food... IMO.

And historically, reported numbers from "Soviet Union" "communist romania", "communist poland" etc. always turn out to be wrong. PRC is more like those regimes.

Here's more "cooking up" numbers:

China Export Surge Spurs Data Skepticism at Goldman, UBS - Bloomberg

“A poor villager can boast he has thousands of yuan of turnover every day, but people later discover he only has one bull -- he takes the bull out every morning and brings it back every evening,” Lin said. “The same applies to some parts of China’s foreign trade.”

Such practices aren’t unknown to the customs administration. In March 2009 it issued a statement that “some local governments and enterprises” were trying to move goods in and out of bonded zones to inflate their export and import numbers and said such shipments would not be included in official data.

Pushing things under the carpet doesn't solve any problem, just keeps them out of sight till be become even bigger.

Funny how those who do not matter when national policies are made keep thumping their chests in internet forums.
