please let india's "if" happen,it's india want to follow westerners's *** and screw aisa ,not china

Ok lets make a couple of comparisons.
1) Sucking to the west.
Among India and China the only one who sucked up to the westerners is China in its fight against USSR.

2) Guts to take on a bigger powers protectorate even when supply routes are available to the protectorate
It doesnt even have the guts to take on tiny Taiwan. Atleast India had the guts to take on Pakistan when it was protected by both China and America.

China when confronted by a bigger bully knows just how to wrap its tail around its legs. No issues.

china started fighting USSR since 60s......US accepted taiwan as part of china since 80s.....where is your "sucked up" theory from.....mainland is already holding taiwan's economic,it's already on the right way.... why should we take on taiwan first.... please show your guts again like 47 years ago,you can't remember your "forward policy"?

and got kicked in the rear. no wonder china jumped to US lap against USSR to save itself.

US accepted taiwan as part of china since 80s.....
You got something in return for your good work against USSR. Isnt this under your definition of sucking to get back something in return?

If you arent scared of the US why do you care what US accepts? And show me one place where US says taiwan is part of China ruled by CCP? Its says it supports one china and makes it very clear it will use its military power to support taiwan if CCP acts too smart to force union. If taiwan is part of china and accepted by US send one policeman to taiwan.whats the problem? lol.

Current US-Taiwan position:
The position of the United States, as clarified in the China/Taiwan: Evolution of the "One China" Policy report of the Congressional Research Service (date: July 9, 2007) is summed up in five points: (1) The United States did not explicitly state the sovereign status of Taiwan in the three US-PRC Joint Communiques of 1972, 1979, and 1982. (2) The United States "acknowledged" the "One China" position of both sides of the Taiwan Strait. (3) US policy has not recognized the PRC's sovereignty over Taiwan; (4) US policy has not recognized Taiwan as a sovereign country; and (5) US policy has considered Taiwan's status as undetermined.

Topic was sucking up to the west and you guys sucked up big time to the US to get what you want. Infact Chinese are more of in awe of the US then even Pakistanis.

Basically after lot of thrashing by the Japs you got a lot of freebies by the west.

You got freedom because of US

You got economic prosperity because of US. Socialism with Chinese characteristic my .... More like socialism with capitalistic characteristics and encouragement by US to make underwears for it.

You got UNSC seat because of the US(again refer to sucking up against USSR)

Pretty much loss of face for you guys to whine now against sucking up to the west.

Is it possible?

Almost coinciding with the 13th round of Sino-Indian border talks (New Delhi [ Images ], August 7-8, 2009), an article (in the Chinese language) has appeared in China captioned 'If China takes a little action, the so-called Great Indian Federation can be broken up' (Zhong Guo Zhan Lue Gang, ÖйúÕ½ÂÔÍø_´ÓÓ°ÏìÖйú¿ªÊ¼£¬¸Ä±äÊÀ½ç, Chinese, August 8, 2009).
Interestingly, it has been reproduced in several other strategic and military Web sites of the country and by all means, targets the domestic audience. The authoritative host site is located in Beijing [ Images ] and is the new edition of one, which so far represented the China International Institute for Strategic Studies (ÖйúÕ½ÂÔÍø_´ÓÓ°ÏìÖйú¿ªÊ¼£¬¸Ä±äÊÀ½ç).

Claiming that Beijing's 'China-Centric' Asian strategy, provides for splitting India, the writer of the article, Zhan Lue (strategy), has found that New Delhi's corresponding 'India-Centric' policy in Asia, is in reality a 'Hindustan centric' one. Stating that on the other hand 'local centres' exist in several of the country's provinces (excepting for the UP and certain northern regions), Zhan Lue has felt that in the face of such local characteristics, the 'so-called' Indian nation cannot be considered as one having existed in history.

According to the article, if India today relies on any thing for unity, it is the Hindu religion. The partition of the country was based on religion. Stating that today nation states are the main current in the world, it has said that India could only be termed now as a 'Hindu religious state'. Adding that Hinduism is a decadent religion as it allows caste exploitation and is unhelpful to the country's modernisation, it described the Indian government as one in a dilemma with regard to eradication of the caste system as it realises that the process to do away with castes may shake the foundation of the consciousness of the Indian nation.

The writer has argued that in view of the above, China in its own interest and the progress of Asia, should join forces with different nationalities like the Assamese, Tamils, and Kashmiris and support the latter in establishing independent nation-States of their own, out of India. In particular, the ULFA (United Liberation Front of Asom) in Assam, a territory neighboring China, can be helped by China so that Assam realises its national independence.

The article has also felt that for Bangladesh, the biggest threat is from India, which wants to develop a great Indian Federation extending from Afghanistan to Myanmar. India is also targeting China with support to Vietnam's efforts to occupy Nansha (Spratly) group of islands in South China Sea.

Hence the need for China's consolidation of its alliance with Bangladesh, a country with which the US and Japan [ Images ] are also improving their relations to counter China.

It has pointed out that China can give political support to Bangladesh enabling the latter to encourage ethnic Bengalis in India to get rid of Indian control and unite with Bangladesh as one Bengali nation; if the same is not possible, creation of at least another free Bengali nation state as a friendly neighbour of Bangladesh, would be desirable, for the purpose of weakening India's expansion and threat aimed at forming a 'unified South Asia'.

The punch line in the article has been that to split India, China can bring into its fold countries like Pakistan, Nepal and Bhutan, support ULFA in attaining its goal for Assam's independence, back aspirations of Indian nationalities like the Tamils and Nagas, encourage Bangladesh to give a push to the independence of West Bengal [ Images ] and lastly recover the 90,000 sq km territory in southern Tibet [ Images ].

Wishing for India's break-up into 20 to 30 nation-States like in Europe, the article has concluded by saying that if the consciousness of nationalities in India could be aroused, social reforms in South Asia can be achieved, the caste system can be eradicated and the region can march along the road of prosperity.

The Chinese article in question will certainly outrage readers in India. Its suggestion that China can follow a strategy to dismember India, a country always with a tradition of unity in diversity, is atrocious, to say the least. The write-up could not have been published without the permission of the Chinese authorities, but it is sure that Beijing will wash its hands out of this if the matter is taken up with it by New Delhi.

It has generally been seen that China is speaking in two voices -- its diplomatic interlocutors have always shown understanding during their dealings with their Indian counterparts, but its selected media is pouring venom on India in their reporting. Which one to believe is a question confronting the public opinion and even policy makers in India.

In any case, an approach of panic towards such outbursts will be a mistake, but also ignoring them will prove to be costly for India.

Why is this only found on BRF, Rediff, SiliconIndia, and other RSS-type websites??? Where's the "original" one in Chinese???

Come on now, this is really LAME.... Nobody needs to do anything to break up India - this comes from internal. :bunny:

sorry ,i found it ,but it is just military forum like this one, nice strategist though, india is supporting tibet separatists for 50 years,i think it's time for china to support those 100 separatist groups in india

So basically it is from open-forum. If we go by what some of you posters say, India will be a super-duper-powa by 2012 and will DESTROY all Ch1nkies, Americans and British!!! AMAZING!!!

After India breaks, purpose for Pakistan existence will be over. No more loans, weapons!!

Strategist didnot said any new thing, this has been or will be chinese policy. I expect Indian Government to STOP toying with Naxals and take concrete steps.

Their primary goal is to dominate the world, just like nazi hitler.
Communist want han chinese colonies all over the world and finish off other races.

Whenever i think of communism, i imagine an angry general taking salute from 2 tanks, 4 foot soldiers and a coconut tree:woot::woot:
:china:

You shouldn't post on def.pk when you are high on drugs! Give it some time, let the effects settle down, get good rest, fill your stomachs with food, calm down -- then, only then do you stop posting. :agree:

No need to mention this. China did NOT want to fight with India. Fact is that China warned India to stop its "Forward Policy", yet after so many repeated warnings fell on deaf ears, retaliation was needed.

Comrades lets not dwell on the past, the future is what we all can look forward to!:china: China regards and utilizes Southern Tibet as more important, so a land swap is possible. This also benefits India as it is a land swap with NE for land next to Kashmir. India-China will then have 3 main land routes for future commerce.

^^ Well even if China could break up India, which it can't, what makes them think that a nuclear armed pissed off neighbor is in their interest?

India isn't as strong as China, but we don't have to be. We just have to make sure that attacking us isn't worth your while. simple. I think 2.5 million men, decent air force, decent navy and a few nukes should suffice.

Also, India decided to expand its military to one of the largest in the world only after losing to China in '62.

I think an overtly hostile China can shake things up a bit and really wake up the slumbering elephant. I for one am sick of all these delays we keep facing.

we are taking your words for granted bcoz we know u been having this cronic PAIN and SHAME since sino-japan war. 1962 was a joke compared that.:smitten:

What?!! I repeat this analysis is from some unknown user-forum who suggested this possibility -- it is NOT the government or scholar or majority of Chinese. Nearly all Chinese KNOW it is a bad idea to have unstable neighbors. Location. Location. Location. Hence, a strong united India is in everyone's interest. :) Don't fall paranoid to this kind of propaganda.

Let me say this: I see India one day to (possibly) merge with BD, Nepal, SL, and Pakistan -- I said possibly. I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THIS. :)

I repeated, a land-swap is best for both parties. China would like access to Indian Ocean region without going through Malacca straits. India would like more access to China-CAR-Pak region. Also India will not have to deal with unrest in NE region. It's a WIN-WIN solution! :smitten:

LITTLE ONE; Man, get real!!, All you talking about is making you

beat you even worst!!

It only show you were HURT, and i LOVE it. PRICELESS

Let me tell you Indians, as long as you talking SH@T.

I am going to remind you The 1962 China-Indo war.

There is a old saying; Doesn't matter the TRICK was old,

As long as it is working fine!!:smitten:

You are the biggest hypocrite i have seen in my entire life.

Do you remember this comment of yours in some other place.

War is not going to happen between India and China, too much to lose, too little to gain.
India and China are going to be economic and military power house in around twenty years time, no body can stop that whether they like it or not.

My Indian friends, honestly i can understand how you feel about China, remind me of how
i feel about USA trying everything she can to contain us, slow us down, encirle us for years. But it never work, eventhough USA over power China in ever way. Because you
cannot afford to up set one of your biggest trading partner.
As the case for India and China will be in way better situation, because we won't able to
over power each other, so sooner or later as our trading figures go up like rocket, we can only end up to cooperate.
To me like the case of Pakistan, one day China will have to make a choice between India
and Pakistan, just like USA have to make a choice between PRC and RC. In reality there
will no all weather friends but national interest.
Finally, my humble opinion, India and China will be Super Power very soon, we will still be
trying to get the no 1 spot. It always going to be a race to the top, some one might
upet once in while, but does it matter much?

It's you guys who are the biggest hypocrites. If you poke someone enough they will respond, so stop poking! Respect must be mutual! Friendship can not be a one-way street! :azn:

After India breaks, purpose for Pakistan existence will be over. No more loans, weapons!!

Once again, Pakistan provides China with access to the Indian ocean and Middle East markets.

Pakistan China friendship does not revolve around India.
