China leads resistance to India joining NSG, unless Pakistan is also included

this is the last chance for Pakistan to join NSG togather with india. If India joins solely, than Pakistan has to forget NSG forever..

why put all blame on PMLN or PPP only tell me can any democratically elected governement take any radical steps regarding changing old principals in foriegn policy in Pakistan without the positive nod from GHQ ?
That's not true in its entirety as when ZAB was a Foreign Minister and especially later when he became the PM, foregin policy was independent and GHQ had little say in it though of course they were consulted like all over the world...Do you think that our state department does not consult the Pentagon?

Guru Jee, not all policies required nod from GHQ, I agree that there are some most probably Indian specific.
There was no full time defence minister in Pakistan and still no foreign minister in Pakistan. Khawaja Asif become defence minister incidentally, when supreme court asked defence minister to appear in the court, because our PM don't like it and then there was a declaration for defence minister from PM. In past the same PM's party involved in attacking supreme court when cases of corruption were in proceedings against him.
PM is enjoying state of the art medical facilties abroad and 02 incompetents are looking the matters of foreign ministry on adhoc basis.
The state matters are standstill, there is a vacuum and you better knows that how the vacuums could be filled. It is always politicians incompatibility and corruption which invites other institutions to intervention.
Same is the present situation and you are very well aware about it. This party which is in power in center is also one of the military product and not so democratic that is only one family is ruling it like some royal dynasty.
When the first elected PM of Pakistan was hanged by ZIA (the pioneer of American intervention in the region); these PML (N) goons were celebrating and distributing sweets in the streets it is part of history.
In India, there is an example a ChaiWala could be a PM, in Pakistan such thinking will be a sin. Any ChaiWala type in our assemblies? May be never in present system.
In Pakistan most in politics are corrupt, they are not leaders they are looters.

but we are talking about foriegn policy and who runs the show and who takes the Final call on it and its the GHQ which does that from day one sure ZAB has a very strong person but we all know how he ended ?

point is politicians do make the policies but for internal issues and non security related issues every thing else (foriegn policy and defnce) needs a GHQ stamp of approoval then why blame your elected representatives for those fiascose ?

the only way forward for e new start is to start speaking truth to yourself and those dependent /living around you and after accepting the mistakes start taking hard actions to rectify them instead of brushing them under the rug and denying them

Is that meant to be a stupid post? The only way for us is to start looking at things the way the US does, to make allies and friends when it suits the US and to abandon the same allies and friends and go to war against them when the US is done with these allies and friends?

And on top of it all, can the mighty US survive a hostile Mexico in its backyard? No super power can become a super power until and unless it resolves issues with neighbors and makes its border secure.....then why are we expected to make multiple enemies at our border just because now the US considers the moral equivalent of their founding fathers and one time heroes to be their enemies?

We agree with China as inclusion of India in NSG will be a bad news for the world peace and security.

Guru Jee, I think if you read my first para, all the answers are there, again GHQ do have influence but only specific to some; rest all turmoil due to incompatibility and lack of vision of politicians.

India Should Block China Entry into MTCR.Play the bargain
