What's new

Çay Bahçesi

Actually confused about my plan, might be going toward PhD and staying as research staff , while joining projects , R&D , or might go abroad for PhD and joining usual projects in there ( if possible).
And what about you? Are you going to join business sector afterwards it? :)
That is my plan. Get work experience. Build up a network. Maybe I want to start a business but I don't have any concrete plans on the latter.

Hey Turks. Salaam.

I got a quick question.

In Urdu we use the word jarasim for the english word germs.

For whatever reason, I thought that maybe it's a turkish loan word.

So is it, and how do you says germs in Turkish?

Wsalam

i didnt hear a word near to jalasin , do you mean germs with cigarette, or bacteria, microp and etc?

For germs in argo : cigarette = sigara
For germs mean bacteria etc = mikrop, bakteri ( i dont know what these mean in old turkish )

Thanks for the information. I was using the word germs in context to wash your hands because they may have germs on them.

I guess it is not a Turkish word.

But the word bakteri is pretty similar to bacteria.

in that case we use mikrop , to express about germs.
I just told bakteri in mean of bacteria already, its not directly used to mean germs . But bacteria also a germ :D
i dont think also its turkish , might be old turkish too.

jarasim seems to be derived from Germs , spellings are similar.

I thought "jarasim" sounded like karisim in Turkish but they probably have nothing to do with each other.
