Thats a very good move to bring back the repute of armed forces. I personally feel Gen Kayani is really a professional soldier and i think he would try to bring back the tarnished image of Pakistan Aarmy. Hope to see positive improvements soon.

Musharraf, Gen Kayani and all officers want to bring back the good name and professionalism that was the hallmark of army. Lets hope that everything goes well and our politicians also show some responsibility and do not try to drag the army into their conflicts. The gen elections on 18 Feb 08 will further decide the extrication of army from the civ affairs.

Dont give to much credit to mushy,he did not want Gen Kayani as the army chief in the first place.
