'Are you mad? They wouldn't let me land in Pakistan': Asad Umar on journalist's query about IMF deal

"Are you mad? They wouldn't let me land in Pakistan."

It's not a literal meaning that someone will not let him land in Pakistan (i.e. on an airplane) it means that the interests that he has means that he wouldn't be considered a Pakistani, in the traditional sense, because of the high level stuff that goes on in these things with meetings etc. with the IMF etc, etc.

Kind of like a UN guy works for the UN and has that interest in heart, and it does help Pakistan a little bit because they are also part of the UN if that makes sense.

Its another way of saying 'I cant talk about what happened in the meetings because its a supra-national matter of sensitivity' if that makes sense.
