ANA Commandos - Trailer

ANA Commandos and our NSG should do joint exercises... both of them can learn a lot about urban warfare and Indians can help them in mountain warfare from our decades of experience in fighting terror in JnK and NE states..

The 21 Rashtriya Rifles can share the experiences with ANA.

win-win situation.

BTW what's the common language spoken in ANA units for easy communication? For example, in our country it is Hindi since it is easier than most other state languages and hence all regiments use it for convenient communication.

Is it Pashto for you or some derivative language?

Pashtu is official language of ANA but since majority of other ethnics don't understand Pashtu for daily routines the trainers talk in Dari and Pashtu both so it become understandable for all of them.

India does train their officers at IMA and i would love to see Indian and Afghan forces train together. Our High Altitude Warfare School and Army Training schools which trains recruits before joining RR should be opened for Afghan soldiers.

I believe the recent strategic cooperation agreement includes significant scope of increasing in-house training of Afghan forces in India and in particular specialist schools like HAWS and CIJWS.

Kindly read my previous post it may give you some idea

 none of you guys have ever visited Afghanistan and you all know the reality about Afghanistan don't mind but don't make a joke of your self!

Yeah they are still in the training process and it will take some time that they become a fully capable and responsible forces and though this video is just regarding recruitment for ANA commandos but I will try to find a decent video footage of ANA commandos it self.

my good freind i was in afghanistan just 4 months ago....and to just let yoiu know i have been to afghanistan 7 times in total in past 10 years so i AM aware of the ground realities there. and i do stand by what i worte earlier about the amount of land you claim they control and that being a joke. please do not take it personal im not trying to attack you. I actually respect your level of patriotism. But i must say what you said was a joke....because it is the hard truth whether we like it or not and YOU of all will see it in the future ;). and having said that i rest my case and am out of this forum because its a waste of time trying to participate in a discussion where most posts are complete or substantially devoid of reality. Best of Luck sher. Cheers :)

one last thing it is not just me or the pakistani forumers here who say this but the 20 million afghan refugees who live in PAKISTAN share our view that KARZAI should be reffered to as the mayor of kabul....i wonder why they coin this term.

My indian freind looks like you are unfamiliar with the ground realities in Afghanistan like most indians but have too much interest in the country. Understandible. You HAVE to be joking about what you wrote above right specially about ""ana"" controlling all those parts of Afghanistan... is that why americans are secretly negotiating with the taliban in Qatar... comon mate wakeup. i do not think i need to go into details and proof. We all know what the reality in Afghanistan is.

Are you implying the "ANA" don't exist? What's with the quotes?

Good. At least now the Afghans know how to make a good video (if they haven't outsourced it..). Like they outsource the "anti terror" operations which the ANA leads (but there is not a single Afghan soldier in it.. lols)

There is an article in Washington Post that confirms it. Since I am new, can't post a link

Title: Report alleges NATO misleads with ‘Afghan-led’ label even when operations have few Afghans

From the Report: "that the term has been so loosely applied that it has, in at least once instance, been used for an assault conducted entirely by U.S. troops"

I can smell something burning there, jealous maybe :p

Here you go some of this may help opening your ignorant mind. Only a small fraction of these recruitment videos make it outside since usually they are aimed at TV audience.

and the one I made some years back...

Well if that helps you sleep better, ANSF has come to this level in just the last couple of years(There was no proper attention to their growth initially after 2001). With the amount of support these forces have both from Afghans and our international allies and couple that with the "on-job" experience these young recruits get each day, just give them a couple of more years and you will have permanent insomnia lol... Now get back to teaching maths to your students in Haqqania high school or wherever you teach, military isn't your thing :p

You are right on one accord, military is not my thing, but it's not your's (by it I mean your country's) either. :p
Minus America from the equation (the occupiers), and honestly tell me, can the ANSF secure the country on their own? Right now?

Here is the link to the article I posted. The USA has to lie (and tell people ANSF) does the operations whereas it's actually the USA, so military loving people like you remain happy :) no offense

Report alleges NATO misleads with ‘Afghan-led’ label even when operations have few Afghans - The Washington Post

Do you have issues understanding the article or just like being a clown? I'm under no illusions regarding the capabilites of our forces and in the same article it quotes the Afghan MOD that 60% of the operations are executed by Afghan Forces. You are trying to paint an image where "ALL" Afghan-led are actually US force rather than Afghan forces which is not what the article is saying. So please re-read the article, you might actually understand it

Well then get back to kitchen, LADY!

^^ Lols, Once a lier, always a lier...

They claim 100% of operations led by ANA, but actually 60% (and that too debateable).

Have you ever seen a hollywood movie, the movie they make is much better.. doesn't mean the actors can fight in real life :p

Peace Out

The way in most cases Taliban have defeated the Afghan National Army I think Afghan Army should get training from the Taliban rather than Nato and America which are also not really happy with Afghan Army these days because of their loses first at the hands of Taliban and now Afghan Army men
