Almost 40% of Russians have positive attitude to Stalin

If nazi take over whole russia, they will killed more russian than Stalin. You sound as if nazi will be merciful if given a chance to do it? The fact is stalin stopped hitler from that point.

Hitler's own stupidity stopped himself not Stalin , if he let his generals have the freedom they needed to make their own decisions things would of turned out differently.

I think you should find out how many people Stalin actually killed and how hard it would of been to get a number any higher than that.

Lol, you shall read about Stalingrad and rest of WWII in Europe eastern war before coming here to comment.

No matter how brilliant hitlers general, the most they do is delay the Russian advancement but never will change the outcome of the war in west unless they come up with A-bomb first.

It was soviet war factories that keep chunking out weapons rapidly replacing the lost one. While the Germans virtually has no replacement. Raw material were scarce and even the brilliant Rommel cannot avoid defeat at North Africa. What makes you think other nazi general can do much when supplies are low?

Zhukov tatic is simple , maximize the fire power of soviet war machine. His arty bombardment are so devastating that there is nothing much the Germans can do unless they match their firepower which they are lacking.

Well, the history is gradually cleaning from the liberal propaganda of 80s and 90s. Stalin - the greatest person in the history of Russia. The son of a shoemaker, he raised the country to such incredible heights that could not do any tsar or great prince.
Hopefully, after 5-10 years, this figure will rise to 80%.

I just loved how your great prince died in his own piss and voma, poisoned by those close to him who even went as far as delaying medical care so that he would die in pain and fecal matter.Poetical justice for that mass murderer who now burns in hell.

Anyone who love history and enjoy WWII as much as we do should definitely go read and study the Eastern Front War. That was simply the best, clean 1 on 1, professional vs professional, all out, no hold back war in the history of mankind. In fact, Hitler had all his best experience troops on the Eastern Front to fight against the Red Army and leave only the inexperience high school, youngster to defend the Western front against the US allied.

A lot of things contribute to the defeat of the Nazi but most importantly it is the shortage of arm supplies. Put it simply, the Nazi had the most technological advance weapons at the time; the only country to deploy missile, super tank, supersonic aircraft in battle but they simply lack the industrialized mean to mass produce in large number. They were outgun all across and couldn't supply fast enough. This teach us a lesson. It is not the most advance country that can win war, it is the one who can make the most weapons and has the bigger will to fight a war. Stalin is a star for Russia in that he is not a typical Western puppet so of course the West hated him. He was a fierce negotiator and took the Soviet to a new height in post WWII reconstruction. In time of hardship and war, you need a leader like Stalin to put the West in their place.

This is pure propaganda. Almost 40%? Suppose to be 100%.

I'm not spending all day on this shit, Haji. So I could only find the U.S. GDP PPP back to 1995 and it's about twice the current Cuban GDP PPP. Besides Charlie, even if they did have a few bucks, what are they going to spend it on ? A Russian T.V. ? Great ! That's why you see them washing up on to the beach in the Keys. They're fleeing all that prosperity. Half their stuff and money comes from relatives in the U.S. anyway. :offtopic:
