ISLAMABAD: Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan will arrive in Islamabad for a day-long visit tomorrow.

During the visit, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will hold meetings with the top officials including Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

Al Nahyan, who is also the deputy supreme commander of UAE’s armed forces, will also meet Prime Minister Imran Khan and the two leaders are expected to deliberate on enhancing bilateral ties between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

The crown prince’s visit comes in a bid to strengthen the bond of friendship between the two brotherly countries, said a statement by the UAE Ambassador in Islamabad.

Crown prince seals cash support deal

This will be the crown prince’s second visit to Pakistan since PM Imran took office. It was the first by a UAE ruler in 12 years.

In a departure from official protocol, the premier himself went to the Nur Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi to receive the UAE leader.

The visit of the crown prince came against the backdrop of an announcement made by the UAE to extend $3 billion financial assistance to deal with Pakistan’s balance of payment crisis

Well they know in short term may be pakistan is a loser but in long term they are not only loss their ally but also force us to move on iranian block

Sabir Sakir was saying Saudi Arabia and UAE has offered to conduct OIC session in Pakistan - but IK said if it is meant to be meaningful then welcome and if it is a space-filler then we are better off without one. UAE and Saudi Arabia has offended Paksitan considerably;
  1. by not voicing against illegal annex of Kashmir by India and not agreeing to vote in UN
  2. then by staying quiet on curfews, killings and curbs in Kashmir
  3. then by awarding highest state award to Narendra Modi for doing Kashmir
  4. then by investments close to 100 Billion dollars in India including in J&K
  5. then by refusing to join G7 and blocking Pakistan by threatening bankruptcy
  6. and then by threatening mass deportation of Pakistanis and replacing them with Bangladeshis and Indians.
Now Paksitan enough. Arabs have deceived Pakistan and supported, awarded and financed a terrorist state against it - but more importantly, by blocking Paksitan from creating an Islamic Block of which they too were a part. Their mindlessness is legendary and all of it against us.

It's amazing how they are all running to Pakistan on short notices, after Pakistan informed them that we are changing our foreign policy for these so-called brotherly nations.

Since the blackmail on KL Summit, it will be transactional relations with these Arab countries going forward.

Pakistanis will eventually have to leave KSA and UAE and they better start planning.

They are not brothers in Islam, but brothers in their benefit for their own sake at their time of choosing. In English, it is called "self-centred" or "In-service-to-self". For the respect of two holy cities, all we have is in pledge. For everything else in the Arab World, our options are as open as theirs.

It is news to me that Paksitan has already informed them we are reviewing our foreign policy.

Referring back to Niamat Allah Shah Wali, he foretold: "Pak, Iran and Turks will be on one side (against Hind)". No wonder Arabs would not take part in GhazwatulHind.

Please for Gods sake ! Stop these predictions which were not even given to prophet Muhammad saw
Lets us make are politics in new way regardless of these predictions God knows they are right or fabricated
Don't we know what Turkish president did in front of press he pushed us into their war and enemies
Foreign Policies are always inhumane and have nothing to do with friends but keep own interest

NO, the way things are going they (saudi and uae) are with india. Now instead of trying to make amendments with Pakistan and this absolute shody attempt to do a OIC clown show in April! which already means that they are NOT serious.

The new block will be made. They are now becoming irrelevant and they should pursue arabism instead.

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will arrive in Islamabad tomorrow (Thursday) for a day-long visit "to further strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two brotherly countries", according to a statement by the UAE Ambassador in Islamabad.

During the visit, the crown prince will hold a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan "to discuss the ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries", said the statement.

In addition, views on "matters of mutual interest and the regional and global situation" will also be discussed.

The UAE crown prince had last visited Pakistan on January 6 in 2019, just weeks after his country offered $3 billion to support Pakistan's battered economy.

The UAE crown prince's visit, which is part of growing exchanges between Pakistan and Arab countries, will take place less than a week after Emirati Minister for Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan bin Mabarak Al-Nahyan met the premier and President Arif Alvi to discuss possibilities of expanding bilateral ties.

Prior to that, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud had toured Islamabad and Emirati Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan had also visited Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran had visited Saudi Arabia, while Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Bajwa had travelled to Abu Dhabi on December 14.

The prime minister held consultations with Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman covering bilateral matters and regional developments. Gen Bajwa had meanwhile called on the Abu Dhabi crown prince. The two discussed “regional security environment and matters of mutual interest".

The premier's visit to Riyadh had followed a trip to Bahrain where he was awarded the country's highest civilian honour.

Pakistan avoids KL Summit
The multiple visits between representatives of UAE, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan come in the backdrop of the Kuala Lumpur summit in Malaysia, which was held to discuss the problems faced by the Muslim Ummah.

Pakistan was one of the first countries with whom Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir had shared his plans for holding the summit when he met Prime Minister Imran along with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly session in New York in September.

The premier had formally conveyed his acceptance of the invitation to the summit when Deputy Foreign Minister of Malaysia Marzuki Bin Haji Yahya called on him in Islamabad on November 29.

However, after his visit to Saudi Arabia — which was seen as a way to reassure the kingdom that ties between both countries remain firm despite Islamabad’s engagement with other Muslim countries — the premier decided to stay away from the summit. The decision was attributed by Erdogan to Saudi Arabia's threats to Pakistan of economic sanctions.

According to Daily Sabah, Erdogan had said that it was not the first time that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates had put pressure on a country for doing or not doing certain things.

Following Erdogan's statement, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the KL summit was a sincere effort by the Malaysian premier to pool energies and strength of Muslim countries, but "some friends" apprehended the initiative might divide the Ummah and establish a forum parallel to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Qureshi said Pakistan was still making efforts to end the misunderstandings and “we are grateful to the leadership of Malaysia and Turkey who not only heard our point of view but also understood it”.
