Isn't it hypocrisy when you say Afghani pakhtoons like Pakistani counterparts but Pakistani Pakhtoons don't like Afghani pakhtoons???

Afghan Pashtuns have a 'meh' attitude towards Pakistan; sometimes they feel close due to ethnic ties and sometimes they have anti-Pakistan sentiments because of Government accusations and border skirmishes. Pakistan has been used by the Karzai administration as a 'common enemy' to unite the people of Afghanistan and try to divert the fact that the majority ethnic group is ruled by a tiny minority ethnic group.

Pakistani Pashtuns however have gotten very tired and fed up of the massive refugee in-pour and the crime/terrorism associated with it. Most terrorist attacks are linked to refugee camps, they've brang in an opium culture, they care little for manners and laws, they are linked in a spike of rapes and other crime.

Sorry to hear that the savages mugged your fiance. This is a daily affair for criminal Afghan refugees inside Pakistan. Of course, not all are like that, but many are. I wish these people went to India. They just keep coming here. It is unbearable.

Afghanistan used to be a progressive nation during 1950s and 1960s. Unfortunately, foreign intervention led to destruction of much of the country and radicalization of the society in later years.

My Fiance was mugged by 3 afghan guys last night in Karachi . Police caught the afghan guys and those turned out to be refugees with no papers whatsoever . Somebody should just put this country out of its misery . Its a headache for its citizens , for its neighbours and for everyone . What use does Afghanistan have? half of its $ 17 billion economy is run by drugs and hash .

If there ever was a land cursed by God it has to be Afghanistan.

That is BS. Iran isn't waging war with Pakistan. We may have our tussles from time to time, but war is out of the question.

Pakistan has to deal with the porous Afghan border which has become a nightmare. Illegal refugees, drugs smugglers, child abductors and everyone else has a free pass to enter Pakistan. This is Pakistan's failure. Pakistan has to take care of the border area or pay a bloody price like it has until now. India is not a major problem. We'll deal with them accordingly.

As for regional trade between various nations. This can only be a brought to fruition when India is willing to resolve the Kashmir issue and stops using Afghanistan as a terror base against Pakistan. On the other hand, Pakistan too has to let Afghanistan go as a strategic base. There is nothing to be gained from Afghanistan.

I'm all for regional trade, peace and development, but not at the expense of downgrading Pakistan.

Iran has been helping Northern Alliance and Chah Bahar port interest clash with Gwadar port. Iran is not fighting directly maybe but it is not Pakistan's ally or its interest are not common. We should realize before we go all emotional.

Afghanistan has received billions in aid from all over the world for over a decade yet hardly any of it has been used for the betterment of the Afghan people. In order to divert the attention of the Afghan people, their government has invented a bogeyman called Pakistan. Pakistan is blamed for all the ills of Afghanistan and the failure of the treacherous Afghan politicians. We are the scapegoat.

Just for an idle moment, try this exercise.

What? The last I checked, Pakistan's relationship with Iran was getting better, and reaching new levels with China. Afghanistan continues to require Pakistani assistance, and India hasn't really done anything substantial, except ignore Pakistan.

[Edit]: The only thing I'll agree with is that Pakistan has failed to satisfy Afghanistan's export and import needs. This must be rectified immediately, and is something that I see the Chinese pushing Pakistan into doing.

Don't need Indian lectures. Let's resolve the kashmir issue and then we will surely tell our generals to take a back seat.
