India have the very right to prevent our enemy getting more muzzles,we will do our level best to prevent such scenario. But I do agree in some occasions we failed to achieve that goal.

For Pakistanis replace word "Bacha with Paroosi or Neighbor" the rest is perfect.

We should treat SCS and F-16s separately...which we are doing right now. Extract as much as you can from US-China rivalry.

F-16 is the most maneuverable thing in the air made by human till date. These systems are advanced weapons & will surely supplement the existing fleet of F-16s because 8 are almost 10% of the existing fleet.

Pakistan can surely order more of these systems in the future with the rising importance of our geopolitical presence. US will not let us go to Russians or Chinese for the sake of blocking few F-16s. Moreover, even PAF cannot retire its 1st tier fighting machines which are still one of the best modern 4th generation fighters and they will remain relevant in the world of fighter jets for next 2 decades atleast.

PAF will replace its old F-16s with MLUs & new ones in future but retiring this whole option from our inventory is not an option. The cost of this system is being payed by US taxpayers & they are coming with radars, avionics, precision targeting devices, training of personnel & other infrastructural support.

India summoned US ambassador on this deal which shows that whole Indian government was trying to block the deal and this is a major diplomatic setback to Indian lobby in US.

8 F-16s in the hands of PAF's topguns will surely alter the balance of power in sub-continent and these machines in the hands of CCS Graduates will be a nightmare for our enemies. Griffins, Arrows, Tail Choppers will be smiling after getting this news

What does AIM 9x and/or Aim 120D have to do with counter-insurgency and counter terrorism? Those weapons are India specific. Besides, Pakistan can use its existing stock of US-made air-to-air missiles. It's not like they are using a lot of them, at the moment.

Pakistan had already bought 500 AIM-120 C5 BVRs + 200 AIM 9M sidewinder air to air missiles from US during Bush era plus old stock of sidewinders, (US sold this saying it was for counter insurgency ops, fact of the matter is India cant control Americans, they do what suits their interests ) Pakistan has more than enough stock of US air to air toys , focus should be on TOT for Chinese & South African air to air missiles being integrated on Thunders !!!

JF17 will never be equal to F16 for a fundamental difference in air frame..
F16 has a an unstable design and then it is balanced with clever high speed electronics which gives it sheer manuverablity.
Pakistan and China both do not have such advance material and electronics capability to built something like that which can last and not be torn apart mid air..
Even the Russian are unable to put their SU-47 Berkut in mass production..

India is like that deprived kid on the block who is also dubbed "shikaiti tattu"...
Pakistan should also adopt this noise making policy of objecting to everything between India and US...and linking it to WOT..but alas..we dont care about taking stress too much!

Just imagine sales of only 8 F16 put them in trouble, what would happen when a deal of SU 35 will be done between Pakistan and Russia?

Hopefully it raises some eyebrows in PMO and we don't follow a pro US SCS stance, rather a pro India SCS stand and forget about India US Strategic relationship.
