I was replying to the member chinese dragon who has some misconception for BD members here. I didn say anything regarding this thread topic.

But a cultural minister has said things from our same cultural angle. Nothing serious. All people in this area are same. We are just devided by different boundary. We all muslims are same. Doesnt mean we will give up our soverignity to other muslim countries. Thats understandable.

No he doesn't have misconception abt BD. An illegitimate AL regime doesn't represent BD. BD is a polarized society but even seculars won't agree with this lunatic minister. Apart from shabagi extremist malauns no one says culture is the same. We are nothing like hindus and they are nothing like us. Religion shapes culture which should be apparent by looking at East and W.bengal.

Btw As for islam and muslim u lack knowledge abt Islam's stand on nationalism.Just saying.

You see above another muslim from india proposing BD to merge with india so that they can grow in number.

Other pakistani and indian members were also saying this. Because pakistani muslim thinks if we join india. We can create greater BD by our greater muslim number here in this region. And hindu indian thinks we BD people and people from other sides are same. Same culture and history.

What i want to say is BD has its own history and culture. Also shares history culture with india pakistan and other muslim countries. If you dont agree with hindu indians than atleast muslim indians. But BD culture is also heavily influenced by hindus. So we are same.

But it doesnt mean we will join india.
