Definitely a major setback for Pakistan regardless of what the FM is saying, the groups that threaten Afghanistan and the region with roots in Pakistan were mentioned. The final communique has signatures of China and Russia ( two main stakeholders) which Pakistan seem to bank on vis-a-vis US and her policies towards Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Now where does this leave Pakistan? I say Pakistan's policy towards Afghanistan is on life support and in need of urgent pivot. One were Pakistan stops using these groups as a foreign policy tool and deal with Afghan on state-state level.

now it is simply a matter of days. Operation Haqqani hatao will start as soon as somebody in the establishment is able to come up with a face saver. Stupid Mr.Trump will thump his chest at how he got Pakistan to its knees with simple negotiating skills and reward them with a few hundred millions.

After China's changed stance Pakistan is left with no choice but that of an immediate course correction :azn:

I am really curious about what we are giving to China in return .One of my hypothesis was the Vietnam deal was finalized and in return for scrapping that deal ,China has agreed with us regarding our position on L.E.T

what set back for Pakistan? BRICS condemn all UN designated organizations including ISIS, Al Qaeeda, TTP, HuT which attack Pakistan.. Pakistan too condemn all organizations.

They didnt mentioned Pakistan once, but still you Hinduzai and your Hindu master are celeberating as if Pakistan is doomed, we feel your desperation..

Did you miss JeM and LeT from the list?

They operate from Pakistan. Their founders are living in Pakistan.
Not only they are from pakistan, they are widely (not wildly... some pakistanis) believed under the protect of the state or so called establishment in pakistan.

You still have not figured it out? Here is a hint Haqqani and Afghan Talis, in addition to others are Pakistan's instrument of foreign policy and projection of power, with China ( all weather friend) condemning them they are telling to stop screwing around and make a pivot.

I think it's time Pakistan asks for the location of haqqani network if it really exists in Pak we should remove it at all costs.
@Arsalan @The Eagle @django if haqqani network truly exist in Pak than we should take action against them (although the possibility is almost nill but sill) and if we have already targeted them in ZEAB which i am sure we have than why aren't we telling this to whole world? guys your opinions?

First become a state, than talk about having dealings on state to state level. Currently 40% of your territory is well under taliban rule and you are worried about Pakistan?

We are turning the tide everyday on the ground as we speak. On the policy side, Pakistan being in the corner and a regional understanding that Pakistan is on the wrong side vis-a-vis Afghanistan a strategic win for us.

Big feat for a country that you consider a no state!!

yeah they were, i guess 2nd last mention which shows their importance to Brics forum. lol

Should i call it failure of indian and Afghan policy bcoz it include TTP, ISIS too for which Pakistan accuse you and Afghans.. afghan president even accepted that they have safe heaven in Afghanistan..
