YF-23 (Black Widow II): will KSA go for it?

A New ufo will come out soon will ksa go for it ??? Will ksa go for the yf-23 ?What a stupid question is that of course not !!!
And on what are you basing your intelligent-less opinion?

The same thing you are....pure conjecture.
And that is all you have to say about why not KSA that has just signed a $110 billion deal and MOUs for weapons worth $380 billion for next 10 tears can't get in a JV with the US for a 5th generation fighter based on the F-23?
At least we are talking about something tangible, while your rant is baseless..

Ok buddy. Please tell us the pros and cons of inducting a derivative of the YF-23 in the Saudi Airforce in 2017.

Both for the US and SA. Indulge us with some substance.

They are smarter than that. They will make them finance 5 billion Dollar "research" and then hand down an "export" version after 10 years which would be less capable than their current F22, and who would be the wiser to know the difference?

US will not allow that as it was better then YF-22, US may even not allow sale of F-32 to KSA which was bit lower in capabilities then F-35.

Not seems possible because F-22 is not for sale and if sold (even water down version) it will put US under diplomatic pressure from Ally countries whom they refuse to sell and internal voices will rise too. Further if water down version of F-22 is sold it will have a phycological impact over F-35 users which US never want.

maybe ask from usa the x 47 b ?

or maybe b2 or b 21 you can pay for this

Read all the posts in the thread, obviously you didn't.. there is already substance if you can read it properly..
The F-22 is not for sale, so forget that(although it was a possibility in Bush times in the white house), F-35 is still another possibility, but KSA never went for the F-16s which are being /to be replaced by the F-35, So the UAE might be considered a good prospect for the F-35 (its own variant again, like the F-16 Block 60/61) based on its current deployment of the advanced F-16s, it will be just a step forward..While KSA who has mainly operated the F-15s, will want its future replacement which in reality is the F-22 that is not available, hence the thought about reviving or taking the F-23 design (after all it flew and there was a final version that has entered the competition against the F-22) and tweaking it to KSAs requirements..We are talking about at least ten years from now, since KSA is getting its F-15SA and delivery should end by 2020, So this 5th generation project can be worked on till 2030.. a good time to introduce a 5th generation fighter to RSAF that coincides with the Saudi 2030 vision..

The other option is to go for a variant of the Chinese J-20.. but that is a different subject altogether..

give me one reason usa will give them yf 23 witch canceled and sopose to be same level as f 22 when they dont want to sell them f 35

The reason is why not..the project is shelved anyway, and reviving it will create a lot of jobs in the US and KSA..The US will benefit a lot and KSA will get its 5th generation fighter..

usa dont want to sell 5 jn like f 35 so yf 23 you live in dream

usa dont want to sell 5 jn like f 35 so yf 23 you live in dream
beter for ksa not to be depend in usa to develop her own 5 jn with turkey
to be like france not depend in no one

KSA never asked for the F-35.. So continue dreaming..
Turkey is another option as well as China and Russia, that is why the US will do it if asked by KSA..or loose a lot of money in investments and job creation.. Trump will go for it for sure if asked by KSA.. the latter will make sure that he has the majority of senators approves it before asking as it goes with all of its US arms procurements, anyway.. it is none of your business, everyone knows what Usrael thinks of Arabs military procurements, so keep your opinion for yourself since it is obvious.. no need to waist your time and others time ..

Nope, China sold some weapons to KSA, and when the US got too curious, the US ambassador was sent back home, so the US got the message that KSA does not share military secrets from a country with another country..
In fact it is Usrael who sells American secrets to anyone who wants to pay for it.. you can google 100s of articles about it..
