If Pakistan and 21 other countries have abolished triple talaq, why can't India?

You can not oppress the women in name of your religion. Indian constitution guarantee every citizen of India the right of equality. If a woman can not give triple talaq, no one can give her the same.

India is secular but Muslims aren't. They should not adopt our religion. They should follow the rule of the land. They should not exect special treatment.

They need to know that after partition they had no right to stay back in India. But we gave them that right. That right isn't permanent and it can be revoked.

The nation wants them to do what other Muslim nations do. If its good & ok for them , surely its good for Indian Muslims too. Are the Mulsilms in those nations any lesser than those in India ? I dont think so.

Constitution is not the word of God. It has been chnged 100s of time. Majority of Indians wanted Muslims out yet Gandhi and Nehru allowed them to stay. They had no right to do that. A plebsicite should have taken place right before partition.

Constitution envisages a secular nation. Yet these Muslims want special treatment and think they are above the law.

Now it's time to say enough is enough. End this treachery once for all.
