4000 years old Saraswati River Coming back to life...

Even if they successfully creates it , would it be sustainable for long term? Hope government has done the spadework, or it will be money down the drain. We can use the resource for better project linking major rivers in India..

I took a piss in my local park and created a river ....

Incredible Achievement , shall we nominate you for Noble:partay:

Its going to be connected to River Somb which is a tributary of Yamuna, so it is a sort of a river linking...

I expect Pakistanis to ridicule fellow Indians but i really did not expect it from you.

your local park is a public piss hole ? Do you Blame RAW for the bad smell
Hold on dude, my comment is criticizing Pakistanis.

You should think about prophet going to heaven on flying horse but the same guys who believed that do not believe saraswathi River which has strong evidence.

One more point, one guy who is a Croat posted a thread which says he has the origins of hravat, harxavati that is saraswathi River, which concludes that India is the birth place of Vedic civilization and during the migrations that happened from India , they went to Persia and the river name changed to hraxvathi since Persians do not have 's' alphabet, the converse cannot be true since harxavati can be called as harxavati since Sanskrit has almost all sounds.

There is no reason to call harxavati saraswathi which points to the fact that out of india theory has more concrete evidence.

Yes. I shall share it with the Saraswati idiots ....

If this was done anywhere else in the world you would be appreciating this.

This project has potential to change millions of people's lives. You posts are usually informative, what happened?

Being born and raised in Bangladesh...I believe that I have the authority to tell you something:
This is not how rivers work.

So, all the flooding and thousands of people dying each year with billions of economic loss is acceptable?

Go and check the river linking and water conservation projects in parts of India. Many of these "rivers" did not exist but now they are thriving and have changed lives of millions of people..

Nope not acceptable...that's why you create "canals"....you call them canals...they will work just fine.

You call them canals or rivers, it's all semantics.
Bottom line is, these canals carry billions of gallons of water, fertile the land, provide water to people and plants and generally make life better.

That is the bottom line.
If you want to call Saraswati initiative as a canal, go for it, I don't mind :)
