Qandeel Baloch is dead

Hi,

After reading her interview---I feel sad for her---she just wanted a better life for herself---she educated herself and made something out her---she worked hard to be where she got to---.

It is really really hard for a girl from a poor house hold to have dreams and then to fulfil them---get close to where you want to get and then have your life snuffed out just like that.

If it was in Iran, CNN, BBC, and every other western media would be discussing it 24 hours a day and blaming it on the government.
They do the same with Pakistan too but no one bothers in Pakistan with hundreds of private channels broadcasting 24x7 and in a perpetual race to air the news first and claim it proudly, most of the journalistic ethics are disregarded. All they need is TRP and with so many channels in market there is an extreme shortage of formally educated journalists. Thus the gap is filled by totally unmerited people and thus the quality....now it has come out that the motivation for her murderer was the petty issues of money...and that makes sense because she had been doing that stuff since a long time and has been in contact with her family...

I am shocked beyond speech by this.

RIP lady. You lived life on your own terms.

Really shocked and saddened. Just the other day I posted memes about her and Mr. Modi. Little realizing that her life would be snuffed away like this.

In a balanced society all kind of people live and must live.

It is like ecosystem. You can't have all lions, all deer or all birds. Everyone has its utility, you never knew you could make medicine from snake poison.

In Pakistan there are different kinds of people with different religions and thoughts. Not all tv programmes are for you, not all products in markets for you, not all professions for you. But they all are fit for someone somewhere. You pick as per your taste and standards.

So you need to see bigger picture and game of creation in which everyone has its role, sometimes hidden from our eyes.

Couldn't agree more, can't stress more...
On a side note, we must leave the lady in peace now. Good bad --- she's with the creator.

A very heart wrenching pic of her father. Not sure if shared before.

No, its always women in most cases. One guy in karachi slaughter the throat of her 15 year old sister because she was talking to guy. One mother killed her own daughter because of this so called honour..these are the few cases happended recently. Family whether brother, mother or father dont take it seriously if man of their family involve in pre-martial affairs with any others girls. I never heard a brother killed his own brother or father killed his own son because they were having affairs with girls outside. But its become matter of shame/honour when their sister , daughter involve in such activities and this double standards is very obvious in society unless you are sleeping. Men mostly get killed by relative of girl whom they are having affairs i.e brother or father of girl when they caught them together but they never got killed in the hand of their own father or brother..i am not saying smoking is good thing. It was just an example to show how we have different rules for men and women
There are ambiguities in these matters.

Men are expected to leave home for work and spend several hours (outside their homes) for the said purpose as a routine. As long as the man is bringing money to the home, his family/relatives are unlikely to check his activities outside the home unless there is a cause for suspicion.

Girls, on the other hand, are much more likely to be monitored than boys, if working outside their homes. This is a cultural phenomenon. We are culturally (and religiously) groomed to perceive our women in the context of honor.

Due to the aforementioned dynamics, relatives of a girl are likely to discover an affair much earlier than the relatives of a boy. However, before the matter can be sorted, some are prone to take matters into their own hands (the jazbaati kind amongst us). However, there are cases in which relatives of the man were responsible for his death. For example: http://dunyanews.tv/en/Pakistan/340472-Father-kills-three-in-Lahores-Kahna-for-honour

I understand your intent behind the smoking example. My intent is to convey that I judge both genders fairly, and there would be many like me who judge others fairly. Therefore, I dislike generalizations.

IT IS NOT A PERVERTED WORLD WHERE india IS BURNING KASHMIR JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT THEIR FREEDOM.
IT IS NOT A PERVERTED WORLD WHERE israel IS KILLING PALESTINIANS BECAUSE THEY WANT THEIR HOME BACK.
BUTT IT IS A PERVERTED WORLD WHEN A BROTHER KILLS A SISTER WHO IS SOILING THE NAME OF HER RELIGION, COUNTRY AND VALUES.
WHY THE **** SUCH BLINDNESS, WHY SUCH FUCKING HYPOCRISY?

Did I say any other murders and violence are acceptable? Did I say it's OK for Israel to kill Palestinians? Where is this coming from?

BTW, I can show you plenty of pictures of Pakistani men posing in very unislamic attire. Check out the bodybuilding contests, in which men expose almost their entire body. Would it be OK for their sisters to murder them? What is good for the goose should be good for the gander.

If you think men should not be killed by their sisters for the same reason, you are the hypocrite. If you do think that those men also deserve to be killed...well, I can't accuse you of hypocrisy. Only of having a murderous mind.

@Mav3rick and others: Should the men shown below be strangled to death by their families? You can find thousands more of these and similar pictures of men. How is that not unislamic/unpakistani or whatever?

Honor of Pakistani men is restored.

Now can they plzz unlike her page and stop watching her videos.

Or are they going to still jack off to her while commenting "lanat es per" at the same time??

So Pakistani extremists first viewed the content and then decided she was brining shame to her family?

That's usually how it works. The people who display the most outrage in public are usually the ones who would earlier have gaped and salivated at her in private. They watch her pictures, enjoy it, then feel ashamed for having enjoyed it, and instead of blaming themselves, they direct all their pious moral outrage at the woman.
