India faces severe ammunition shortage, can fight war for only 20 days: CAG

I think ordnance factories were ignored or not given priory by MOD...... Hope they treat this as a wake up call and start working on them.....

CAG audit has to be taken with a pinch of salt. Has anyone read GAO reports of the US? they make the US defence forces seem the most inefficient ones.Duh there are audist here atleast ,in our neighbour country there is no audit at all, months or 3 mins they would never know because their whole system is corrupt to the core and is unaccounted.

Time for India to take back all weapons and ammunition from TTP, BLA etc
Why?Can't the high operational readiness Pakistan Army do it ?

Nothing to get to alarmed about. The next war will last not more than a week! :D

They'll be beaten in 6, so they shouldn't sweat it.

These CAG reports are very useful in so much as to shame the GoI/MoD into action. Yes a lot of th time the reports will be working from inherently outdated data and thus their findings can be somewhat misleading but it is better to have such reports be made and have a level of accountability that most nations lack.
