I think before taking major decision Gen Raheel thinks ten times about his blood line therefore brave n bold decisions are expected.

He would not have been so bold had Gen. Kiyani not restored Army's reputation.

U should respect Gen.Kiyani.He did what was best at that time.He restored army`s respect among masses by not interfering in politics

Masses are always demanding martial law anyway. Only international pressure plus aid money kept baji kayani away from declaring martial law.

Both were patriots to their country
Kayani was a Spy.
Raheel shareef is a infantry man. Shoot 1st asked question later,
both were need of time what do you think agencies were doing when kayani is in charge.

There was difference in eras of both. For Kiyani there were other challenges like refining the name of army in Pakistan majorly in Balochistan.Army was viewed by many as power hungry,wants control on foreign affairs and defence policies as Musharaff had recently left at that time and was accused by many as murdurer of B.B too. His time was known as dark era. So kiyani was able to do important accomplishments as COAS. Operation in Swat was also successful. Many Pakistani wanted Kiyani to takeover the country as they were fed up of PPP's government. If he would have done that all his hardworks would be ruined and like previous Army dictators he would have left some serious challenges to Pakistan. Because of his bold step of not intervening in government and letting the government run the country,he is viewed as corrupt person or patner of previous of government
