Half true, half false. Indian army didn't invade Junagadh. Have you read about Diwan Shah Nawaz Bhutto's letter to Mr. Buch requesting Indian government to take control of Junagadh and after handling Junagadh to India, he fled to Larkana with his baggage because his nawab already fled before and he find it impossible to control the revolt after the controversial accession and no help from Pakistan came. Indian troops entered Junagadh in November 1947 after the invasion of Kashmir by Pakistan in October 1947.

The Indian Government made efforts to persuade Nawab Sahab of Junagadh to accede to India, but he remained firm. The Indian minister V. P. Menon came to request an accession to India, threatening consequences in case of denial. The Nawab however decided to accede to Pakistan, and an announcement to this effect was made in the gazette of Junagadh (Dastrural Amal Sarkar Junagadh) on 15 August 1947.[4]


In the meanwhile, there were exchanges between the governments of India and Pakistan. Pakistan told the Indian Government that the accession was in accordance with the Scheme of Independence announced by the outgoing British and that Junagadh was now part of Pakistan. While this exchange of correspondence was going on, India closed all its borders to Junagadh and stopped the movement of goods, transport and postal articles. In view of worsening situation, the Nawab and his family left Junagadh and arrived in Karachi on 25 October 1947.
Surely there will be revolt as it was hindu majority and Indian army closing borders. When muslims in Kashmir revolt, that's ignored.

yes you are right. Ethnic cleansing was the main aim. During islamic rule it was difficult to convert a majority forcefully. But at least those invaders were able to convert 40% population into their ideology. It was because of Sikhs, Marathas and other strong communities, Hinduism was alive. But these invaders have converted everyone in other countries.
