The JF-17 is a truly remarkable plane

We have financed 50% of the JF-17 project so yes we do own JF-17. What is difficult to understand?

You do not own SU-30. You bought them by paying to Russia. SU-30 is a Russian product and you can not resell it to third party without Russian approval. India has not financed SU-30 project.

We are 50% partner in the JF-17 program and hence can sell it to any country we want. Revenue and profit shall be shared 50-50 between China and Pakistan. Even if China sells JF-17 we shall earn 50%.

First , Yes IAF was clearly order not to cross LoC at any cost and for rest i need a link especially a sanction hit F-16 going agressive (I agree both locked on each other ) .. Which was Grounded during war . And F-7 can really do that as it lacked an intercept radar .

F-16 were not grounded during Kargil event. This article should clear your doubt:

PAF F-16s deployed in Skardu

IAF don't have any plane which supersede F-16 in terms of tech and capabilities.
IAF's MiG-29UPGs and upgraded Mirage 2000s (-5 Mk.2) match, if not surpass the Blk.52. This is without talking about the Indian Navy's MiG-29K/KUB and IAF's Rafale purchase.

Rafale does not fit in the comparison since IAF has not ordered or inducted this plane as yet. Once IAF has this plane than you can state what you have said in your post.

After one week of CAPs, the F-16 maintenance personnel indicated that war reserve spares were being eaten into and that the activity had to be ‘rationalised’, a euphemism for discontinuing it altogether. That an impending war occupied the Air Staff’s minds was evident in the decision by the DCAS (Ops) for F-16 CAPs to be discontinued, unless IAF activity became unbearably provocative or threatening. ( So, F-16 was discontinued after a week of war or they flew those jet and get spares from Heaven ? )

I said this is WITHOUT talking about the Rafale (which will be ordered this year don't you worry), my points about the IAF's MiG-29UPGs and Mirage 2000-5 Mk.2s still stand.

So , you are saying Pakistan can sell Jf-17 without approval ? Wake me up when u r able to sell a single Jf-17 !! Bored of reading we can sell it without any approval ... The country buying it for time being need three country approval Russia , China and Pakistan .

So tell us, is Tejas in line to be a world beater, ever wondered why despite being several decades late, why India is still pursuing this project
Why is it that every time the JF-17 is mentioned the LCA project is mentioned in the next breath?

This is utterly futile and irrelevant. It would suit many to draw comparisons between the two projects but all in all it is difficult and pointless to do so as both projects have different end users, different developers, different limitations etc etc

And the real crux of the issue is this- the PAF needs the JF-17, the IAF doesn't need the LCA (although it would make an exceptional addition to the IAF). The JF-17 offers a pretty decent replacement to the aged Mirages and F-7s and for a cash-strapped PAF there is little in the way of alternatives. The LCA could never enter IAF service (it will though and in large numbers) and the IAF would still be in a pretty sound position (with what it had, yes it would be facing a SQD shortage that would be incredibly expensive to address with non-LCA alternatives) if the same was true of the Thunder the PAF would be in a whole world of hurt. The Thunder represents the top end (in some regards) of the PAF's capabilities and certainly the most numerous platform in the coming years neither of this is true for the LCA- it will be by far the lowest rung of the IAF's fighters and will not the the most numerous platform at all (MKI will have that distinction).

As such let's keep the LCA out of the discussions on the Thunder- it is a waste of everyone's time.

India was supposed to order this plane last year. Any ways I do not care you order it this year or never order it. Its your headache not mine.

What I have said is at the moment there is no such thing as a Indian Rafale. This shall only happen when a Rafale actually lands in India in IAF markings.

Not they aren't- even the PAF would have conceded this some time ago.

You made the off topic comment so I am entitled to respond.
The PAF hasn't claimed or conceded anything, any one with some knowledge will confirm that the Block-52s, specially the "D" version is one of the most capable platform in our region.

I know it is difficult for you to digest being an Indian but yes we can sell it to any country we wish to.

Russia did not stop China from handing over JF-17 equipped with Russian engines to Pakistan and it won't stop China or Pakistan from selling them to third country. Business is business.

I will not disagree that it is "one of the best" in the region but not THE best as you had claimed.
