Bike collision leads to communal clash in Rampur, 3 killed, many injured

Rampur (UP): There has been no let up in the spate of communal clashes in CM Akhilesh Yadav’s state. After violence in Saharanpur, a minor bike collision in Mehendipur village in Rampur flared up into a huge communal aggression between two groups.



The violence this morning led to killing of three people and injuring five.



No arrests have been made so far.

Rampur, situated in the Muslim-dominated Rohilkhand region of UP, is Urban Development Minister Mohammad Azam Khan’s political backyard.



Over the past few days Uttar Pradesh has been witnessing a number of such incidents with the chief minister facing flak for not being able to control them.
