Trending: Bollywood 'soft ****' angers some Pakistanis

Sir I have already said that to create a good movie or drama, story should be powerful. They were good movies and I support it but most of them are BS..

Your Pakistan film industry shows the biggest vulgarity through dirty Mujras.

Those who dont like can swtich to Q TV.

Whats the big deal?

and fk the story as long as you are alone and enjoy **** soft or hard or whatever the shit it is, and you are becoming a naik parveen when others watch it publically then the problem is with your insecurity not with others.

Not film industry but the dirty theater in Lahore indeed is more vulgar than anything.

It is a bit surprising because pakistanis are world champions at watching **** ;)

If you don't like it, don't watch it.
Some want to watch it for story.

Some want to watch it for women.

You know who you are.

You have a choice.
Sir as a muslim country, we should ban these type of movies because it effects in growth of us. People will surely watch movies for women and not the story. Good movies should be allowed but these porno movies should be banned. Also it doesn't reflect our culture.

Hence we don't support them. But some of the people with dirty mind still want to watch these type of things. It is why they are running.

Free choice is something Mr. The Govt is Nobody to decide what movie is good or bad. And if i want to watch a "bad" movie then its my previlage the govt cant do anything about it.

So let the audience decide what is good or bad movie

We are normal human :))))

Bollywood Doesn't give Penny under horse shyt what Pakistanis Wants .

Don't like it , don't watch it . WHo is forcing you ??

Correct, if you don't like it don't watch it.

However, if it wasn't for the fact that these movies are in hindi/urdu maybe people in PK would not watch them. I know many people who watch bolly stuff because they have problems understanding english language films, dubbed movies look ridiculous, most people cannot follow sub-titles.

As for quality, unfortunately Bolly movies are soft ****. They contain absolutely gorgeous girls, fantastic eye candy, and any hot blooded man would acknowledge - would admit the women doing their gyrations, bouncing and wet t-shirt style clinging clothes, makes you go - nice and then you go that is almost akin to **** - titillation, where is the substance? Bolly films had given up on substances many years ago.

As for Geo, the start up funding for Geo was provided by US - and of course the strings are to show content that is Indian and US friendly and they have been following this model ever since - it is a good income stream.

You cant do it by speaking against it. Once the audience decide NOT to watch masala stuff, then automatically support for good movies will grow.

The Indians movies are watched for some trends and we all know that.
Liquidmetal has decribed it nicely.

If this hurts the emotions so much.. they should ban anything that is not inline with their values....

lekin....but....

Maze ki baat hai.. ki dekhna sabko hai...lekin batti bujha ke...

Everyone wants to enjoy some level of Pornography... but in secret...

Why is Pakistan's Geo TV being accused of being a traitor?

Pakistan loves Geo TV. At least, that's what the ratings say. Together with parent company Jang, it's the country's biggest media group.

But on social media, things look different. Since Monday, tens of thousands of Pakistanis have lambasted the channel on Twitter for showing Indian content, using hashtags like #BanGeo, #TraitorGeo and even #GeoIndianDog. Some refer to Indian TV shown on Geo as "soft ****" and complain Geo's news is pro-Indian.

Pakistan has a history of ambivalence towards TV, films and songs made in sworn enemy India. Conservative Pakistani voices deride the sexy songs and risque themes of Bollywood films and dramas, but they remain hugely popular with Pakistan audiences.

Some Twitter accounts using these hashtags have tweeted hundreds of times in a short space of time, and mostly about this issue - suggesting there is organised campaigning against Geo TV, alongside the genuine tweets,

The #TraitorGeo hashtag seems to have first been used by a Twitter user named Madeeha, who says she is a 19-year-old living in Islamabad. She told the BBC that Geo shows too much "nudeness" and "promotes Indian culture". But her objection goes beyond risque movies - she, like many others, complains of Geo TV's formal connections with India. In 2010, Geo created a joint peace initiative with the Times of India, an Indian media giant. It's called Aman Ki Asha - Hope for Peace - and organises initiatives to bring Pakistanis and Indians together across the border.

This project has "hit a nerve in Pakistan of people who I would call the hyper-nationalists," Beena Sarwar, editor of Aman Ki Asha, told the BBC. They've had insults like this right from the start, she says.

In recent months there have been several unsubstantiated allegations that Geo is linked to the Indian government and media - claims which Sarwar says are "preposterous". Just before the flurry of anti-Geo tweets, these allegations were repeated on a television talk show on a rival network in Pakistan. Geo TV have so far declined to comment to the BBC.
