Why is China called the longest continual civilization?

So, how does it prove your point, :girl_wacko: many languages have taken loads of loanwords from other language, only Icelandic language has maintained its pure form. ;)

Icelandic is part of Germanic language, LOL. Chinese language is the purest.

How come surname prove your point. China was ruled by Mongols and Manchus who speak non-Sino-Tibetan languages. I even read Chinese also have Persian origin words. everyone wasn't speaking Mandarin for 2500 years, still only 70% Chinese know Mandarin, 400 million can't speak Mandarin.

Would you class Palestinian Arabic, Egyptian Arabic, Syrian Arabic, for instance, as different languages? No! Clearly, the Chinese language, standard Mandarin, has change a bit since hundreds of years BC, but not much. Sure it borrowed some words, even from English, but it is the same language as the Chinese of several hundreds of years BC. The Chinese civilization is continuous for thousands of years. No one can refute this! :bounce:

It depends on how maths is defined, wiki is not reliable. Simple diagrams are not maths. If so, Chinese maths is older. "Simple mathematics on Oracle bone script date back to the Shang Dynasty (1600–1050 BC)"

Neither China nor India was the oldest civilization. That honor goes to mesopotamia.
The oldest continuous civilization is Chinese.

Earliest reference of Indian Mathematics is in Rigveda. What sort of mathematics are in oracle bones and which is oldest record for mathematics in oracle bones.

Mongola and Machus use Chinese. Persian culture ruled you, never us. Mandarin is standardized Chinese, lol, you don't even know chinese history. Those who don't speak mandarin, can write it. We have the oldest continuous language, it is fact, there is no dispute .

If you're referring to Hindi, yes it was Persianized during Mughal era. But let's not go off topic. Mod is watching

New language originates from old, same with Hindi(Khariboli) originating from Shauraseni language a kind of Western Prakrit. So, what are you referring to by Persianization. :girl_wacko:
