What's new

Nirbhay Cruise Missile test failed.

Ok sir you win, it was a glorious success. Do you know our western neighbor has already mastered this technology 8 years ago.

1. Their missile has a fraction of ours' range.
2. Their missile started development directly after US Tomahawks crashed on Pakistani soil. Reverse-engineering =/= Mastery of technology.
3. It did not fail because the missile was bad. It veered off course. That could have multiple reasons including wrong inputs while before launch, shutting down of guidance satellites (it's happened before), moving out of range of satellites, etc.

No...
Nirbhay is wider and longer than babur...
Apperantly its been made to be compatible with K-15 vertical launch tubes....instead of torpedo tubes same as Babur/tomahawk.

India is going for a different architecture and scantlings...

And what made you think that?
Your over zealous fanboy attitude??????

Is there any officially released data about the dimensions of Nirbhay ??

Yes actually the pics of the Nirbhay that is circulating around (courtesy Trishul Blogspot-P.K.Sengupta) is actually in the DRDO site.
Visit this link http://drdo.gov.in/drdo/tenders/liveTenders.jsp you'll find a bunch of open tenders you can download the pdf files from there one of them has the specs on Nirbhay, I really don't remember which one, you can try the ones under the ADE*Aeronautical Development Establishment group.

Don't tell us your job that you do,that's how your Missile fails,Understand now the realty other wise Kashmir will be gone........from your hands.:omghaha:

The Unknown troll who is too desperate and insecure that people hardly ever take you seriously, you can go now.:coffee:

:offtopic:.........Imagination can't be change.

Watever happens...DRDO will perfect the Nirbhay over the course of time!

So no use fighting on the topic tht it has failed...
n read carefully..it wz a successful launch nd the missile went offcourse after 20 mins so there must b some prob with the guidance system!
N also these things take time to b developed n mastered..so we hav to b patient!

n as per the current scenario...the pakistanis r havin a blast since it failed!!
:agree:

how did mr nirbhay died?
was he travelling inside the cruise missile?

it is failed but u have forgotten the basic rule rnd try try till u succeed and dont bother abt our missile but bother safety of ur army from this missile before any war once it inducted by 2016 make ur defence is ready

21°26'20"N 87°0'33"E - Google Maps

Test area looks flat and featureless.....

Nirbhay practically flew over the sea(along the coastline) and not over land.

Nirbhay+Cruise+Missile%27s+Flight+Routes+on+March+12,+2013.jpg

And lets face it, Nirbhay not flying with a digital terrain profile matching sensor, and on top of that sea-skimming, where the computational load automatically is more than what it is on land, and then still going 250km is pretty good achievement for its first run.

Safriz said in his previous post about the size of missile when he proven wrong then bought new issue here, this map already published by all defence sites but seems still hard to digest truth.

Better luck next time..
