The markhor (Capra falconeri) is a large species of wild goat that is found in northeastern Afghanistan, Pakistan (Gilgit-Baltistan, Hunza-Nagar Valley, northern and central Pakistan), some parts of Jammu and Kashmir, southern Tajikistan and southern Uzbekistan.

Seriously I dont understand how bengal tiger represents us. I think it should be cow.
We are not martial race, we are quite docile. :)
Also we Indians are not solitary/individualistic at all. We live in groups, think in groups.
We dont bother what others think about us (have you seen a cow in middle of road, it cares sh*t about your horn, only moves when she feels like).
Many of my uncles are as equal contributor to global warming as cows. Only they are louder.

Countries don't have state symbols they have national symbols.
