IAF bans beards for muslims

Communist is completely biased against India...wat ever u give the facts or he wont be conveniced at all.... any way.....

Dr BR Ambedkar formed a constitution of India making all the rules and regularities for Indian Judiciary system. By the way BR Ambedkar wasnt a Brahmin. He was a DALIT. True talent....
We can observe so many ppl like Ambedkar....

Yeah, he truly ensured safeguard for Dalit rights and the Dalits are the happiest of the lot in hindustan today........ great leader indeed...

By the way, ambedkar's constitution is no more. it has been transmogrified to an extent that he would have committed suicide with all the Dalits, had he been alive?????????

Keeping beards (trimmed) should be allowed IMHO. I can't think of any army that insists on clean shaven personnel. However like long hair, keeping long beards should not be allowed as it does not conform to army standards anywhere !!
Also , the muslim army person should understand that he is not there as a religious scholar but as a army personnel. Respect the profession and try to keep religion for some place else

:rofl: ahmeddsid where r u? Where is your secular India?????:rofl::rofl:

In a secular state (for example france), one WOULD NOT BE allowed to wear religious symbols on govt jobs. so whats ur point? its funny when a pakistani comments abt secularism when he does not know the S of it.

its not required for muslims to grow beards (its not farz), hence any professional body can impose restriction. it would be religious denial if muslims were not allowed to pray for example. next u'd day u don't want to wear uniform but 'islamic dress' as per sunna :)

its abt being reasonable, if u know what that means.

... and these fanatics are trying their best to pinch Muslims every possible way. no need to say more on freedom of Muslims in secular India, a dear friend of evil zionists

I guess I got a Huge Fan following here on this forum! Thank you for searching me out in each forum. And I have answered the so called SECULAR nature of India on the previous pages. Check it out before calling on me plz! I am a writer, I have stuff to write, cant answer ur questions all day, it was fun in the beginning, but not that much fun now! ;)

Muslims are getting so much from the State, Haj Subsidy, Reservation in IAS, IPS, IFS etc. Do you know that we get paid to study in Colleges???? ;) Besides I feel beards dont look good on Air Force pilots. X Man said that this sorta stuff happened in PAF and it blew out of proportion and some people got court marshalled! what do u say about it? Why did PAF wanna shorten beards??? Its the look dummy! ;)

Yes If a state helps any Religion in any Way, Its not secular! Hence India is not SECULAR, because it provides many benefits to Minorities, like Haj Subsidy, reservations etc! Check out the meaning of SECULAR in a Certified Dictionary!!!! Hope you know how to check out words! ;) lol

its the degree dear. how they interpret it. like most of the 50+ muslim states don't agree on how to interpret and implement islamic law, like sharia boards of malaysia are not recognized in UAE and UAE ones not in SA.

if german air force allows ppl to keep beards, thats a choice of the german airforce, like UAE allows women to go out without hijab, whereas SA does not. however thats how it is, as long as its reasonable, i'm ok with it. if indian air force said no namaz for its recruits, it wud be unreasonable, and i'd oppose it. but the beard thing is a small issue. FYI, a brahmin air force pilot is not allowed to keep long hair too. i checked this with a friend for ur info. so unless u want to just keep making anti india statements, u'll understand.

Just to clear the issue on the PAF side, our restriction was placed on Pilots who are on active flying status and have to don on Helmets and oxygen masks. It does not apply Air Force wide.

In any case, I think this issue is for the IAF and the employees suing to work out. Looks matter very little when Sikhs are allowed to wear their headgear and beards. Why the same exception cannot be made for Muslims is beyond my understanding.

What is so hard to understand? They prohibit overt religious symbols unless it is an essential part of someone's religion.

Next we'll have Brahmins in the airforce refusing to wear the uniform for a dhoti and refusing to kill another human being because its against their religion.
Or we'll have jains demanding that they be served special meals with no onion and garlic (and of course refusing to kill)

I don't understand why it makes the headlines every time muslims have to make a small compromise.

Dear Blain,

No Airforce in the world allows mullah beards (pardon my choice of words) BTW check Turkish Airforce rules. This Airforceman wants to look like that very talented pakistani cricketer (opening batsman) whose name I forget. BTW sikhs must put gel or fixo on their beard and then paste it to their cheek with a thin stocking, will muslims accept that ? Even PAF does not allow mullah type beards so why blame the RAF or IAF.

Regards

Dear Blain,

You are an Islamic Republic with an Army head most of your existence. Even your Supreme Court bows their head to the Army Chief and thats a fact whether you like it or not.

If a pilot disobeyed in the PAF and insisted on a mullah beard he would be dumped into a cell and no civil court could give him justice but in democracies like UK that can't happen so its got to be a uniform rule for all people governed by the Air Force Act.

Regards
