US Stealth UAV RQ-170 downed in IRAN

500,

You are so desperate, that you have start outright lying. But it is understandable, since you do not have the same RQ-170 technology as Iran has. Iran has got an edge there. All Israeli drones are ugly looking 1950 era RC toy planes with Japanese cameras installed on them. No where near RQ-170. That is why you are angry.

Iran did not manage to intercept Israeli drones.

Now Russia starts lisence production of Israeli, drones, despite they got wreckage before:

Maybe Russian engineers are not as skilled as Iranain

gambit,

Again you have come with hocus pocus. The S-300 version, Iran has not claimed they have built. They had said, we are in initial stages of designing and they showed models of it. Anyways it is called Bavar-373 and believe me it is not now going to be like S-300 at all. With this drone in their hand they are going to get S-400 technology and build Bavar-373 to that specification.

As for your other hocus pocus about why Iran did not take out the entire US airforce, I guess you do not know anything about proportional response. If Iran had done that then it would have been a declaration of war with US just like pearl harbor. Iran is not crazy like American to start up wars. What they wanted to do was to give a proportional response to Stuxnet. Simple and effective. Stuxnet destroyed just afew dozen centrifuges and Iran suffered some minimal damages. It did not shot down the entire Iranian nuclear program, their electric grid and hospital computer systems. Stuxnet was a limited project so was this Iranian virus. You are paranoid to think Iran had to take out entire US airforce. Yeah, maybe if US infects Iran with a virus to completely shut down Iran, then maybe they do such a thing in proportion what US has done. Simple.

The RQ-170 is flown with satellite assist. News for you: We hardly use local controllers anymore. At best, local controllers are to assist the drone in take-offs and landings, but once airborne it is controlled via satellites from CONUS. I know because I was once solicited to be a UAV field engineer. The pay was more than excellent and it was tax free. I would be in an 'undisclosed Middle Eastern location'. I would be issued at least a side arm. And I would have my own tent.

Local controllers are line-of-sight limited, so even if Iran managed to copy this RQ-170 exactly, assuming it is the real thing, it would be useless to Iran.

That is right Iran did not do it. Their students Hizbullah did it.

As for Russians it is such an irony. They stopped selling S-300 to Iran in order for Israel to get Israeli toy drones which are ugly, low tech and so 1950's in their designs. Now Iran has the state of the art drone of the world. Let's see which one Russians are going to be interested in. RQ-170 or Israeli junk. I am sure Russians would want to give Iran S-400 not just five of them but the entire technology for a production line. Go figure.

 What an even bigger joke of an argument. A virus is probably the BEST plausible denialiability weapon you can have. Has anyone stepped forward and claim ownership of Stuxnet? Do not bring up allegations. I want to see an official Israeli/US named official who made a recorded statement saying 'We did it.'

You think so. Would it be useless to Russians and Chinese too. Iran does not need to operate such a drone out of line of sight at all. Since they are not going to invade Mexico. All they need is border surveillance and such. What Iran is interested in is superior air defense systems for use against any US air force aggression and anti ship missile technologies for use against US navy aggressions. I am sure a barter deal can be reached where in Iran gets S-400 technology and some more Chinese anti-ship techs. Do you get it now?

Neither did Iran admit to its virus infecting US systems. Iranian media just let enough info out to make the connection just like US and Israeli media did with Stuxnet. You are so dumb, gambit.

Then there would be no need to steal an American drone. If operate within line-of-sight, long range and duration are no longer crucial requirements. Nice to have, yes. But crucial, no. The flying wing design is already well known and well within Iran's technical ability. Who do you think you are talking to here? Someone who has no experience like you do? This put your 'Iranian virus' argument even more to doubt.

Good, then we can say that Iran has nothing to do with this event.

By the way, gambit, Is this you talking about RQ-170? I have a feeling it is you since it so much matches the way you post hocus pocus here:

Sir imo Tejas is better than RQ-170 in terms of fuel efficiency and user friendliness.......reason is the fiber optics used in the construction of Tejas are made by ISRO that is directly beind funded by IPL....
RQ-170 i would agree has more speed on it than Tejas but the problem comes when u have to install an anti-aircraft gun on its deck......the crew of RQ-170 would have a tought time operating the anti-craft gun on the deck of RQ-170 cause at higher altitude poor visibility would add to the hardships of the commander of RQ-170 who is already sitting in a congested cockpit in the lower landing wheel of RQ-170 and while pulling of all those loops it isnt an easy job to focus on writing and signing cheques for white house internees.

Yes, if you are so dumb then we can say Stuxnet had nothing to do with anything either. As I said, Chinese and Russians are more interested in this than Iranians. Iran just is interested in bartering this with something else they need. Simple.

At least mine is more believable than yours any day.

I would be surprised if Iran allowed the Russians and the Chinese to inspect this alleged find. I have no problems saying there is a possibility. But even the Russians had initials doubt about the Serb's claim to have shot down an F-117. Let the Russians and the Chinese inspect. I fully support it because they WILL come back to US and say 'Yea' or 'Nay'.

They did not do anything.

Stupid Russians, they did not read messages of internet expert "longbrained". Beauty as measure of military effectiveness is even more funny. I guess if longbrained was a chief of MoD's R&D division he would invite Armani and Gucci designers to develop weapons.

Now Iran has the state of the art drone of the world. Let's see which one Russians are going to be interested in. RQ-170 or Israeli junk.
First of all, RQ-170 is far from being the most state of the art drone. Google X-47 and X-37.
Secondly Israeli drones are simply different class drones. You are comparing oranges and apples.
Thirdly and most importantly, you still dont understand the difference the device and know how.

Every country in the world has Core 2 Duo processors. But how many countries can produce these processors?

I am sure Russians would want to give Iran S-400 not just five of them but the entire technology for a production line. Go figure.
LOL, you are very funny kid.

Your 'hocus pocus' can be nominated as JOKE OF THE CENTURY.

Do you think that it is possible to take out entire USAF with computer hackers?

What is next? Iran will SHUTDOWN the entire US military force?

It is just one drone (out of countless others that have violated Iranian airspace) and we don't know the whole TRUTH. We just have Iranian explanations to rely upon and Iranians are master propagandists too.

Also, IF this is really a real drone then expect US to address loopholes in its systems.

See post 1031.

the virus in.question was a keylogger.....
it wasnt there to disrupt anything....
thats why it sat there for so long...
but it is plausable that by ditting there for such a length of time and logging key strokes and pissibly screenshots...
iranians were sitting in their tehran headiffice and acvumulating data on how the dones are controlled and what commandscare given for what action.....you can do this with a keylogger.
once they learnt all the commands...they sent another virus which disabled american system.
