Tableeghi Jamaats to be banned from Cantts, Defence areas

State should control religion and not religion should control state.

Tru that.. I myself snuck into an ijtema once :woot:

However, these people are the main recruiting pool for the TTp and other terrorists organizations.
so if stereotyping need be done on 2% of the population.. so be it.

you are continuously coming up with baseless accusations..Its the otherway round..these people have removed drug users from criminal lives and made them good humans, and De-radicalized jihadis by asking them to look into themselves and try changing their own selves for good, instead of using force to change others...

All religious organizations should be regulated and come under the ministry of religious affairs, anyone preaching against the interests of the state needs to be locked up, enough is enough.

Politely Asking people to go to mosque for prayers..Be nice to fellow human beings..Avoid perverting on women...Avoid sham practices for making money .. and teaching them the value of human life is not considered something against state..Or is it?

State should control religion and not religion should control state.

I think most Pakistanis will opt for "Freedom of Religion" and not "Freedom From Religion" --- Having said that one could argue that all Freedoms are predicated on Responsibility - Then again, is conscience not at the base, the foundation of all ??

If your answer is yes, then we must have a conversation about values -- If your answer is "No" - we must be ready for tyranny - we in Pakistan have for long answered "No", because with Certitude, any such conversation about values or anything else, appears too much like a challenge to Certitude and are never allowed.

Their proper Audit must be done and they must show their assets all unregistered ones should be closed down and banned

first show the assets of Zardari gang , all the useless politicians & $$$ loving Generals.......

liberal fascists in action again ....

and we remember the emotionally charged secular trash talking all sorts of blah, blah & blah and starting some big movement when Taseer died.

Lets see if this ban really takes place.............:cheesy:

Selective freedom of speech is no good..Its as bad as slavery..State telling people what to say and what not to..True certain things are a no no,and dont count as freedom of choice of freedom of speech...
You cant stand outside an American's house in Islamabad and shout Death to america, and burn all americans..If you do that you deserve to be caged for good...But if you are doing something like imran khan you are doing good...

Same way if a religious organization is asking people to burn and kill non muslims because thats their religious duty, the morons should be locked up and keys thrown away...But if they are preaching Islamic way of life, its their right to do so..

ministry of religious affairs - that's really funny.

We don't see useless ruling elite including the generals locked up for going against the interest of the country.

and yes enough is enough, this lil tiny minority of seculars should be taken to task...........

all tablighi jamati hizb lashkers groups and political religious parties should be ban from Pakistan. whats this tabgleeg some one knock your door at 9pm .

Selective freedom of speech is no good.

An excellent example of why the conversation is ultimately about values --- is choosing between "good" and "Bad", between "wrong" and "right", being "SELECTIVE"??????????

If yes, the conversation is about VALUES

If Not, the conversation is about the lack of VALUES

Wow, Its just so sad to see people who are so misinformed and further from the reality. The west generalizes the Muslims and says that all of Us are terrorists, without having any real insight. What makes you think you guys are doing anything different when you are judging the TJ? The reason Pakistan is in the quagmire that it faces today is because of ignorant douches like you. Do a little research before blabbering crap on a public online forum. TJ is the most mellow and chilled out religious organization that there is. In fact, they are severely criticized for their laid back approach by other religious segments. All they propagate is to do the basic Five commandments of Islam which are Shahdat, Pray,Fast,Give Zakat and the Hajj, and you are good to go. They are criticized for making the religion so simple and not stressing on the other aspects of it. If there is any such thing as Moderate Enlightened Islam, it is of the Tableeghi's.

I am not a Tableeghi myself but just sane and educated enough to not criticize anyone without having any knowledge about them. It is people like you -- the ideologues who have ruined this country. At the one end of the paradigm is you guys who vehemently oppose anything which has anything to do with religion, and on the other end are the people who are ardently against anything which does not fall in the realm of the religion. Both of you extremists should be stood in a line and shot in the head. Its the extremists, whether leftists or rightists which are the Achilles heel of PAKISTAN.

Yes people should have the right to select whats good for them and whats bad..In every matter..religious or not..
India is bombarding us with preachings of their values and way of life..West is doing so for decades and with great success..and i have no problem with any of them,.They have the right to preach in their way what they think is the right thing to do.If they think its best for women to walk around with half of their breast hanging out, they have the right to say that..its for the women to choose if they want to cover up or expose their flesh... .But same applies to religious preachers..They should have the right to preach what they think is right,as long as it doesnt involve violence, which in the case of tablighi jamaat..there is none...Every merchant has the right to sell their merchandise....Its for the people to choose which merchandise they want to buy...
