Lessons and observations for pakistani nation

Stop bring in religion into every discussion. Religion doesn't say loot and chiffon aboard. Religion doesn't say to make **** blackmailing videos.

There is a world outside of religion, but you bhakts have nothing else substantive to offer in a discussion.
Bhakts are so insecure they need to come onto PDF forums and bring religion up everywhere while we are having a constructive discussion related to something else lmao

I dont think its anything but genetic. I mean people in Japan leave their doors unlocked, there are videos of people leaving their wallets, only to find them returned by a bypasser. A good indication of the potential of any nation is the capacity for obeying traffic rules/forming straight lines. Nothing about this is socio cultural. Obeying rules is something even ant colonies do.
Just my two cents.
Then you're wrong

A Pakistani born and raised in Japan will be like how you described, what you've described is socioculture not genetic

I honestly believe a very extreme law against corruption should be implemented where people truly fear it because honestly it is stuck deep into our roots and plaguing us, we must yank it out with force.

Any form of corruption at an institutional level by government officials should be a very extreme law. Surrender 90% assets with perhaps 10 year jail term or death penalty. Something!

@TNT @ziaulislam Possible or not? Because something that has seeped very deep into society must be yanked out with extreme measures - talking is not enough, discouraging is not enough. We need tangible strict laws.

Agree with u, any crime can be stopped by merely punishing the culprits. Even punishments in Islam are harsh, the reason is to deter any potential wanna be criminals. But here corruption is supported by all including lumber 1 and actually most think its their "right". China controlled corruption by implementing harsh punishments. We can do it too but it requires a non corrupt govt and establishment.

We must accept that most of this country is uncivilised, it's culture doesn't match running a functioning nation state with functioning instituions with dedicated roles.

Any pragmatic thinker can realise how devasting nepotism or lack of meritocracy can be in government ministries/instituitions given how it detoriorates them, and these same ministries are supposed to handle things related to the entire country. Failed incompetent ministries/institutions will obviously translate to a failed country.

I think you are going too far. Nepotism and corruption etc happen a lot, to varying extent, all over the world. Here in this rural community where I have been in living in America for decades, I can't get any 'government job' because of nepotism, despite two Masters from a highly reputable American university: The saying here is 'It's who you know, not what you know!'. Not that I would want a $30,000-50,000 job anyway. Just saying.

In case of Pakistan, I believe it is the lack of political stability which is the main culprit and our Indian and BD guests here would probably relate to what I am saying. Pakistan was on a path to achieve the stability starting the 2002 elections but the events of April 2022 shattered that momentum and for that I blame Imran Khan a lot. I know it doesn't endear me to this forum but that's how I see things in Pakistan--and I have seen things from the 1970s onwards.

The level observed in Pakistan is to the level of being uncivilised, it is a chronic illness

ok if that offends you I will no longer share my views. rest easy.
And if you do have a fetish for fellacio learn to spell it right. you may have better success.
good bye
Your "views" are rooted in extreme personal bias, don't match reality and perhaps some sort of insecurity.

I don't have a problem with Indian posters as there are some good ones, but most of you are toxic/trolling and unfortunately ruin threads.

I was going to partially agree with your post until you brought up the "mistake" of CPEC and 1947, or trying to be accepted as Arabs (some singular cases may exist but it's definitely not institutional lmao) and that other weird religious shit

You need to differentiate between the different types of corruption. One type of corruption is straight up theft. Stealing from the nation and sending this money abroad. In Islam, theft is punished by cutting off the hand. This is in the Quran. For theft at the scale that the Sharifs and Zardaris have done, the punishment should be death. Simple as.

Then you need to change laws regarding merit. At public institutions, all these quotas do you no good. Bring back the merit based system that the British had. And force people to compete for the top spots. Unf, meritocracy as a culture will take some time to develop. But it will not develop unless we start at some place. Then we need to push for more quantitative measures for admission- remove qualitative factors. This will also help with removing biases that are present.

Then there is the sort of corruption that corporations do to sidestep govt regulations. And cut bureaucracy red tape. Some of this is bad no doubt. But some of it is because the govts are acting like idiots. So if Baloch people are smuggling oil from Iran, this is technically corruption but not that big of a deal for example.

don't ruin another thread with this Indian Pakistani trolling please ffs

We are trying to stay on topic here with some constructive discussions

I think its time you look in the mirror and see you are an ugly, short, dark skinned dothead that your own women are repulsed by. You are at the bottom of the totem pole in the sub continent. Your country is a toilet, it looks like sh*t, literally. It is dirty, overpopulated infestation of subhuman creatures. You have twice the population of Pakistan in poverty. You literally raped little girls in Kashmir for decades. Climbed into homes at night to rape women sleeping in beds. You gang rape women daily. On a bus in public, anywhere. You enslave your people through caste enshrined by your demonic religion. You worship demons trapped in stone and practice black magic. Horrid nightmarish people, repulsive in every way.
Oh god not this again ffs

Doubt it man. Jews have been VERY poor in their history, they never descend into civil chaos like we have a tendency to do.
There are Pakistani crime ridden areas in the UK, other places in the West. We are not model citizens. Yes these ppl grew up there but that pakistani tendency towards enthropy still shines through.

There are many social factors which go into it, being poor and hated by the world or abused can over time create a tight knitted social culture for a group so that example is not really correct

The idea of meritocracy, merit and being against nepotism/corruption needs to be taught in the schooling cirriculum and drilled in from a young age, the moulvis and mullahs should also be instructed to propogate this.

Then make laws supporting the above with strict punishments for people engaging in nepotism/corruption, let people see them being punished for it.

provide incentives to people for finding them and punishing them.

It can be done. it has to be a national narrative and effort

Problem is by age 5 when you start going to school already everyone is trained to be corrupt as hell

I truly believe, where there is a will there is a way.

If we had a dictator that wanted to make a change, he would certainly find a way, it could involve various methods but a solution would be found eventually. and over time it would become embedded
