Sindhi Pashtun RIOT in KARACHI

From karachi with love

how corruption ruined the trust people have on law enforcement agencies in this case sindh police and are restoring to mob justice or injustice and the results is enmity among two ethnicities which could end up burning the whole country!

how faujis have just destroyed this country by protecting and profiting from corruption!

On one hand you say that they don't want to hurt Pakistani Pashtoon's interests, and on the other hand you says that the CNIC provided by those Pashtoons are illegal. So, I have 2 questions.

1. How do they know those CNICs are fake ? Because only Nadra and Police provided with such Apps can find if an CNIC is fake or genuine.

2. Who give these waderas the authority to ask for CNICs of anyone ? Isn't it the duty of law enforcements ? Can a civilian ask another civilian to prove his nationality ?
catch 101 that they should answer themselves (mods deleted the previous thread which I was quoting from- background of this whole situation was on that thread)
I was just giving a gist of previously deleted thread, what some Sindhi posters said and dawn/ tribune article I read where they took quotes from Sindhi nationalist leaders

Doesn’t matter . It doesn’t affect DHAistan .
Let peasants fight between themselves .

Hath milaty hi kam tamam. Zerdari se hath milany se pehly hi PTI ko sochlyna chahiay tha keh zerdari kia kerta hai hath milany walon k sath. This is coordinated attack on PTI, not pashtoons.

I would agree if the Sindhi guy was wrong Pathan has no right to kill any one just over food and I'm against what Sindhis doing closing businesses of Pathans but all mistake you can not put on Sindhis Pathans are doing wrong things here not all Pathans are bad nor Sindhis

But way you guys are targeting one community is wrong there are mistakes on both sides I'm not defending any one

But you guys starting to blame us is wrong we always open our houses and hearts for every one but they miss used it and start fighting in our homes is not right either

Pathans has to understand one thing if they do business here we don't have any problem but if they kill any one is wrong over food yes there were ways that these Pathans could have taken to avoid bloodshed

What Pathans are doing with Sindhis in balouchistan is no one criticizing

When the killing starts the bullets don’t see who is a Sindi sindi or a zardari sindi, let them keep lighting the fire.

We are very united people, we are very determined people, hell we even got our cousins the afghans in Karachi, win win situation if you ask me.

Oh well in that case I stand with them against intimidation and harassment, they should get the afghans involved.
For what afghanis should be thrashed out of here if you think that you fight than Sindhis are not Americans either Pathans should understand and Sindhis too but if you enforce a war on our land you will get befeting reply war has no ending only innocent dies better both community live in peace

But Pathans if kept their arrogant behavior that they are cannot be defeated this will be last mistake they do

you are 110% right, killing over food is not what normal people do
and I'm against what Sindhis doing closing businesses of Pathans
glad you are seeing through it- random nobodies crimes doesn't mean you do mob justice and turn the whole individual act into ethnic beef
but all mistake you can not put on Sindhis
no one is blaming Sindhis in general- but sindhi nationalist groups are responsible for turning an individual crime into something bigger by going around looking for IDs, mob justice of closing down businesses
That is not how responsible people act - the police is thier, take the killer and put him in jail - that's it
Pathans are doing wrong things here not all Pathans are bad nor Sindhis

yeah hows one guys crime results in group justice
last time it happened was in USSR or now in NK

killing over food bill is barbaric shit, I can understand the anger

Welcome to the club...
Baluchistan has been doing this to every Pakistani group east of Indus since 47 especially Punjabis, probably the only province to have ethnically cleansed people post-Pakistan, (I have extended family (some close members some faraway) in every part of Pakistan, interior Sindh, south Punjab, Peshawar, Mardan, Karachi
Quetta is the only part where its "used to" now- so I don't like em one bit... and I love pakistanis and connections we have as a people throughout history till now )

One year they'd do ethnic cleansing, next year same people would come back looking for work in the homeland of people they have just ethnically cleansed the previous year
this is how this shit works

Imagine the absolute crisis in the country if eye for an eye approach was taken?

As someone with ancestral ties to both groups such news is painful to read to put it mildly.

However I want to clarify a few things. Those incidents are mostly (so far) small in scale (very much so in fact) overall and mostly centered around a few seletc localities. Most importantly there is no hatred or animosity between the two groups.

What is at play here is the usual uneducated lot on both sides.

It is the symptom of the sorry state of Sindh (much of it) which Pakistan’s biggest political mafia and most corrupt and incompetent party PPP is largely at fault for.

All this is a symptom of the sorry and frankly dangerous state that Pakistan is in right now. It is a pressure cooker waiting to explode.

If there is any dislike (in general) it is aimed at problematic elements among the illegal Afghans.

Lastly most of the mess occured in Hyderabad not Karachi.

Community and religious leaders on both sides need to take action as I lost hope for the state and establishment to do anything.
It all starts and begins with the PPP mafia.

The illegal Afghans that killed that Sindhi man need to be persecuted and there are no excuses for such uncivilized behavior. PERIOD. It is not the first that that illegal Afghans are involved in absolutely unacceptable events and behavior. We have enough on our own plate already, this particular problem needs to be dealt with some way or another. I am talking about the problematic lot within them.

Non-Sindhis calling Sindhis for racists are idiots. There is not a more diverse province in Pakistan than Sindh. Nor a province where the main native ethnic group (Sindhis) are this low (percentage wise) compared to others in their own motherland. It was not until 1972 that Sindhi language even became official. I am not going to talk about other stuff here. Sindhis have had and continue to have many legitimate grievances and are to this day one of the most neglected provinces. PPP Is much to blame but not for all of the problems.

What a sad state of affairs in this country, if we're not killing each other over sectarian/religious differences, we start killing/attacking each other over ethnic ones. I would call us a nation of donkeys, but even donkeys don't attack other donkeys for being a different breed.

I hope elders on both sides can intervene and calm this down before it gets any uglier. I can already see ethnic fascists on both sides exploiting this in a race to proclaim who is the most oppressed ethnicity in Pakistan.

We should not overreact but there is indeed a problem of ethnic chauvinism within Pakistan.

I blame the lack of a genuine common Pakistani identity for this which is the result of the overall failures of Pakistan as a country and in particular the Pakistani establishment that is the cause of it. However it is always about the vocal minority.

Take the Sindhi-Muhajir clashes of the 1980's and 1990's. They were blown up in the media as well but the reality is that if it really was the majority, there would be no Urdu-speakers left in Sindh today.

Yesterday you were claiming in another thread that all Pakistani ethnicities are inherently subservient to others/foreigners and they have never stood up for their rights throughout history .. and here you are claiming exactly the opposite

PS: That Sindhi guy who got killed might have been a thug who wanted free meal but you can't kill people over this. Someone needs to explain this to the illiterate Afghan immigrants that civilized societies do not work this way. You can't go around killing people and cutting off their ears over trivial matters. You simply go to the police

I am shocked by some of the comments of fellow countrymen in this thread. It is a sad sight to witness.

This is the main point, nothing justifies such uncivilized behavior. I don't care who the perpetrator is and his ethnicity. It should never be accepted.

And Punjabi is not an official language in Punjab (let alone Pakistan) even today despite the fact that it's the mother tongue of almost half of the inhabitants of this country.

Quite ironically, you can get you NADRA ID card from Lahore printed in Sindhi language, but not in Punjabi

Back in our school days, we used to have 3 mediums; English Medium, Urdu Medium and Sindhi Medium .. No such mediums for Punjabis, Pashtuns and others

Why are Sindhis and Sindh special ?

Why this misplaced sense of entitlement?

own fault not someone else's
