Pakistani Navy going through a serious buildup

had the generals let the politicians play the dirty game of politics themselves, public would have learn giving those politicians due respect they deserved. unluckily public always see the filthy faces of those politicians after they betrayed them.

we also would not have few of the thugs came out of the wombs sitting in the parliaments from time to time.

above all people of Pakistan would have learn how to vote which they still don't know and that is irony.

Pakistan has had it's fair share of idiotic politicians and boy was the track record bad if you look thru out the years.. The whole Bhutto, Zardari, Nawas, and some other elements even were really bad..

But weirdly enough the only reason Pakistan is even existing today was the work done by two men who laid the ground work for Pakistan's long term future security and unfortunately Pakistan has failed to repeat that and the closests they have come is Imran/Bajwa era but it will be judged on it's decisions because it is to early now to give them a full judgement and the only plus point they have so far is subduing India but they will be judged on their next decisions..

What Zia-ul-Haq-AQ Khan ethablished is still standing because of their decisions but if you remove these two individuals from Pakistan's history books.. The state of Pakistan would have ended back in the 80s and if for some reason it has survived it would have ended in 2001. It would have been the sole target etc etc.. Sometimes people lay down such a fundation and leave behind something that gives longevity to the others..

I have also seen that majority of Pakistan's on PDF are like kids thrown down from a tree when they were young and lack of brain cells is unfortunately evident. They don't view India as existential threat but rather view them as jokers, toy and irrelevant where as they view other irrelevant elements as threat. This is as upside down someone can truly get and It is equal to someone scoring -100 on a test rather than scoring +100..

We have strange individuals posting on this board who can't even tell an enemy and friend apart. I have also seen finger pointing at others but I Can unfortunately tell that there are more traitors in PK society than the other way around

one must read the nuclear history of Pakistan

and

one must also know the consequences of that military rule which we are still paying for

It doesn't matter consequences what matters most is that pakistan stands thanks to their actions solely taken by 2 men.. Others who disagree Pakistan is not the right country for them.. They should embrace Bharat and India should develope some sort of program taking back alot of people from Pakistan who wants to join Bharat and Pakistan will get rid of unwanted garbages.. These people should start to cross the border and change their names into Govinda or Aresh... Once they cross into that area they should know that in the next 3-4 decades Pakistan will annex India and once again they will find themselves on Pakistani territories this time expelling these folks further into some Islands and far away

no you don't just can't give your decision for anybody who live in this country and has some otherwise thought.

as i said one has to learn the nuclear history of Pakistan to know better.

the other thing is as k those who face the menace of MQM. and what one can say if you are a Nawaz voter.

if the matter is that way then there is no need for this discussion.

You are answering in cryptic messages without clarity

Thought would share this with you all, the likely requirement of new sailors and officers when all ships join the fleet.

From current requirement of 3,364 + 100 offciers and sailors to man the fleet at any given time, the requirement will go up to 4,500+ (Did not include Jinnah class compliment). This figure only includes personnel needed to man the ships/craft/subs of the fleet.

I read somewhere that another 2 F22p zulfiqar class frigates will be built?

'In 2015, it was reported that Pakistan Navy awarded the contract to the KS&EW Ltd. to build two more F-22P Zulfiquar frigates, which are currently being constructed.[28][29]'

What happened to that?

We joke about aircraft carriers today, but pre-1971, it was worth real consideration. Back then, the PN had to maintain two distant trading centres (Karachi and Chittagong) and two major sea trade links. In fact, time had shown that both sides were massively important (the Arabian Sea and East Asia).

Bar external reluctance and/or foul play, there was no excuse for Pre-1971 PN to not get an aircraft carrier when Argentina and Brazil could get one. Ironically, the PAF's first jet was originally a carrier-borne design (Supermarine Attacker). Imagine, if we had looped those jets to the PN with one of the RN's surplus carriers...

That said, I'm not giving Ayub Khan as much flack because, at that time, Pakistan-US relations were really good. Our defence planners genuinely thought the US would have our back provided we don't do anything out of order. Unfortunately, ZAB convinced us to do something out of order in 1965, and the rest is history.

We can credit ZAB for giving us nukes (though the technical base was all established before his time), but if not for this guy's existence, we likely wouldn't have needed them because we were a darling nephew of the world. It went downhill from 1965. @SQ8

The IN ACC used against Pakistan in 1971 war was originally wanted by Pakistan as Quaid have asked PN Chief to get it from UK but after his demise all went down for Navy.

The 3 X-craft submarines aren’t usually crewed from my understanding, they’re for the SSG(N) right?
But I suppose that has little effect on the overall tally. Maybe then you can also add the new SWAS submarines, as we know one was commissioned and more have probably been commissioned since.

I remember the PN chief said that one Yuan class submarine will be in Pakistan before the Hangros arrival for crew training, Wether that will actually be happening, be a temporary thing or be a permanent sale remains to be seen.

Do the Larkana and MRTP really have crews that big? They’re pretty small vessels from what I’ve seen. CNS also said 20 indigenous patrol craft would be added, but we haven’t heard much of it. Were there More Azmat class FAC planned too? I remember the required number being stated as 6 somewhere

It makes sense not to Add Jinnah and the possible other heavy surface vessel type that was discussed yet as both are too far.

Lastly, should the PMSA personnel be added here too? They have 12 major surface vessels of their own.

Thank you for taking the time to make this though, it’s really helpful.
