RAWALPINDI – Pakistan on Wednesday conducted a successful training launch of surface-to-surface ballistic missile Ghaznavi, said military’s media wing.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the missile is capable of delivering nuclear and conventional warheads up to a range of 290 kilometers.

Earlier this month, Pakistan conducted successful flight test of Shaheen-3, a surface-to- surface ballistic missile, having range of 2750 Kilometers, reported ISPR on Wednesday.

The test aimed at revalidating “various design & tech parameters of weapon system,” said the official statement.

President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, CJCSC & Services Chiefs have congratulated scientists and engineers

Routine Test to check various parameters.

Still, expecting something like abbabeel 1 OR 2 Test

For new comers....

Don't go for range but check the versatility of warheads, it can carry thermometric, Nuclear, HE and plenty of other warheads with near 100% of accuracy....

This is training launch.

Roughly equivalent to the Pershing 1 missile.
Not bad...
We need lots of these to swamp anti-ballistic missile systems.

Warheads?
W85 type with a 5 to 80 kT tritium boosted. Or possibly with a single MARV.
What is the CEP roughly?

We need 70 of these babies ( with decoys ).

Yep, the fly is staying dead.

Warhead is ~700kg HE/NE, not MIRV
CEP is probably ~300m.

Edit: The M-11 which this is probably based off, has a CEP of 500m, and the M-11A (with GPS) has a CEP of 20-30m. I don't know if Pakistan upgraded Ghaznavi in any such way.
