What's new

4 indian soldiers died in an Ambush by Freedom Fighters in ioK.

I hold the sword and feel pride bro. I dont know how to explain the feelings.
It makes me want to be a better man. Love my country as much as the mountains of my homeland.

Fk i sometimes get emotional when i see the mountains and the sword.. not even half the man as the ones who fought and sacrificed their blood for the fatherland.

Ameen bro, so you should feel pride. We are very honoured to have such men as our ancestors. We all need to pass our history on, my own children already know the accounts of the wars we fought, and like you said feel immense pride.

Just because Pashtuns got involved doesn't mean Kashmiris did nothing.
The valley kashmiris were mostly carpet makers, tradesmen, merchants who were oppressed by the dogras. They werent soldiers.

Also the dogras were helped by sikh princely states and india with troops and weapons.

They committed genocide killing hundreds of thousands. Displacing millions who poured into jhelum valley.

Its said that the fire from burning kashmiri villages could be seen from murree hills.

The refugees told horrible stories.
Jammu was cleansed of muslims and British journalists reported that the bastard raja hari himself in one instance lead the massacre of over 200,000 people.
Muslim names of towns, markets etc were replaced.. thats how former british army soldiers from azad kashmir raised weapons and tribesmen started mobilising with little support from an army that itself had next to nothing.

As indians had stopped Paks share of weapons aswell as money. All ordinance factories (around 18) were also in india.

Infact india still owes us money.

I think he meant the koshur speaking kashmiris from the valley.

Azad Kashmiri, ex soldiers were first to raise their weapons.

I believe it was a Pashtun officer, a major who started arming people with 300 condemned rifles from army and riled up support from Tribesmen.

My Grandfather was a young man in his early 20s during 47. He saw the horrors first hand and also raised his arms. One of his brothers was shot but survived.

I still have the sword which was used... but unfortunately not the pistol, rifle and horse reigns etc..

Some were lost, others taken by my cousins. Im lucky I found the sword.

Can you show us the pic of the sword.

Photo of the vehicle suggests that IED was not used. They hit the vehicle on a side wall when they were fired upon.

If Kashmiris regularly start using IEDs, it will be very hard to control.
It will be devastating for local agriculture too..
Reality is that a militancy will not work unless india is engaged everywhere

Kashmiris arent like pushtoons..previous conflict it was the pushtoons that liberated GB/azad kashmir
Wrong. GB it was the locals that fought and there is a monument at the location of the major battle. I have been there and if you want I will dig out the picture of the monument. On google I tried to search the battle but there is nothing. Azad Kashmir pushtoons were involved but being irregular and untrained it was a mistake

Please dont do this Pashtuns of the tribal areas and Gilgitis and Baltistanis came together to liberate Kashmir. We owe a great deal of debt to them.

Clarification
Pakistanis can never repay the debt of Pashtun tribes and Gilgit Baltistanis and Azad kashmiri forces especially poonchis.
We salute you.
Excuse me bro..I know you mean well. What debt. They fought for their country. Look at those muslims in india

they probably have a higher hdi and better conditions compared to rural sindh, occupied or not.

Let that sink in.
Probably is the word here isnt it.
But its definitely and not probably that all kashmiris hate the Indian occupiers.

Let that sink in

They were also unfortunate in that they got the gullible Sheikh Abdullah as their leader. He was played like a child by Nehru.

Well, there would be no China Pak relationship as it is today if it weren't for those GB people and Azad forces. Please see Pak map without GB and AJK. This was truly a moth eaten country.

The GB people could easily have accepted indias annexation as many khanzeers from national conference did led by khanzeer in chief sheikh abdullah.

IMO A nation should always owe a great deal of debt to its martyrs. Just my opinion. thanks.

To the martyrs...of course....buy they are Pakistanis and fought for Pakistan.
As would you and I and our sons and daughter after us.

He was a khanzeer. After all this massacre he was rallying people to vote for india. Thats why nehru wanted to hold plebiscite with hindu hari singh and khanzeer sheikh abdullah as PM of kashmir. Thats why on Nov 1st 47, Jinnah rejected plebiscite with meeting with Mountbatten.

As if Kashmiris are better off today.

Bro, these shameless Indian Army soldiers are destroying their orchards.. I have seen a video in which Indian Army guys are cutting down apple trees full of apples ready for harvest with a chainsaw.. This is how they are destroying the lives and livelihoods of Kashmiri brothers..
