Patriots of Pakistan who did not join military, do you ever feel depressed?

Let me know about Karachi... How expensive it is?

Unfortunately, i don't know about Karachi. You will have to Google.

The club i went to had a modest membership fee (few thousand rupees, can't remember exactly now range 2k to 5k) and they charged based on ammo type. The cheapest was 50 rupees per bullet for a pistol. Even had world war era Tommy gun though obviously dara made.

Seems like some clubs in Karachi require membership in Laks. That's crazy

seriously? are you following that manual?

I have heard that they make you hunt and eat RAW animals, wood, etc. And that they teach you how to swim in the sea (different from swimming in a pool).

A navy seal's workout is pretty intense, how are you doing it on your own?
I am following their pushups, pullups and running programs. It is tough but when you do it everyday it gets bearable. For now I can do 30 pullups and 70 pushups in a row and running 8km a day. My target is 50 pullups, 100 pushups and 12km.

That is great. How much does a navy seal do?

What is your plan now that you know a war is coming, how are you planning to help the military/country? how are you preparing yourself?

Our nation is full of men willing to give thier life for it, but few who will dedicate thier lives to it.

Your patriotism is not measured only by dying on the battlefield. It is measured by your service to your nation.

If you can earn and pay tax you serve your nation. If you can volunteer to improve your nation (cleaning, fixing, building, educating) you serve your nation. If you can build an institution to do something positive - you serve your nation.

Did Edhi saab serve this nation any less than any shaheed? Muhammad Yunus won a Nobel prize for his micro loans that lifted millions of Bangladeshis out of poverty. Did he serve Bangladesh less than any soldier?

May Allah swt bless us all with the opportunity to be martyrs for his deen, our people and our nation. Until that moment spend every moment you can serving your nation.

Also - if you live your life in accordance to the sunnah, you can be prepared to serve your nation at time of war.

Be physically fit. Train in a martial art, Learn first aid. Learn orienteering, camping, basic survival skills. Aquire a legal weapon, train to use it efficiently at a firing range. This is all part of the sunnah.

I did that, they range from 100K to 500K. Lifetime fee and thats just membership fee, then you need to pay per bullet, for ww2 era guns. It is bearable for me, but still freaking expensive.

This is already underway, its just not as easy as it sounds and takes a long time and dedication to achieve, I am still in the beginning phase of it.

Ameen.

This is a temp account bro. I usually just browse this website, I do not take part in it.
All I can say about myself at the moment is that I am a self taught software engineer running a small software shop in Karachi.

Yup, thats why I started it. But running and expanding a business is a freaking difficult task. I mean I am still learning about it, its like a whack a mole, you kill one issue and another one pops up.

There is no GUIDE for a business. No book can teach you that, you spend the first few years just LEARNING. I now truly appreciate the likes of Saleem Gauri and Edhi Sahab. They have created such a vast empire over their lifetime most people do not even understand how much hardwork has gone into it.

I applied, got rejected  so not my fault.
However no regrets. We have a family history of losing family members in wars all the way from 1857 "Ghadarr" to 1971.
Even my dad almost lost his life few times in avalanches while in the FWO as civil engineer.
If my ancestors hadn't fought so much with foreign forces, I am pretty sure I would have got enough in inheritance to not work all my life

I am from India.
But I say that you feel bad because you a good person and have good morals.
Here in forum most people living outside but talking lot of patriotism. Both Indian and pakistani.
They only talking but actually think for money more . They never come to fight.
So don't listen to them.
Yes we are enemy and if war we will fight.

But respect for thoughts.

Brother there is nothing better than bodyweight exercises. I have been going to gym on and off since I was in 10th grade that was15 years ago but you cant keep it regular when you start working. Plus you cant have gym everywhere. So when I was in university I started doing bodyweight exercises in my campus park gym and believe me I never achieved so much in gym lifting weights. My stamina, endurance and strength increased alot.

Try these exercises at home

The Age of 2 armies clashing and Tank Battles is gone . There are much more productive ways of serving your nation.
