Than there is possibility of 'Russia with China' as well.

What I think in future journey to deep space can only be done by collaboration, since India and Russia time tested ally they can jointly or one country in partial collaboration can easily take over the task . Like in Chandaryaan 2 mission. So both country together are my choice.

well i dont think they r going to collaborate each and every time, they will b also keen on collaborating with Chinese

Why dont they work for betterment of human instead of sending them to moon

i think order wil b like:
usa.
china.
russia.
india.
others.
this wil b.

Why dont they work for betterment of human instead of sending them to moon

They are , suppose in future if they will discover helium 3 or any other energy rich source which is capable of taking care of energy demand of human , how much fruit full this will be. Energy source on earth are limited and human population are growing . Human has to go to space and search for more places and resources. Moon is the first step.

USA
China
Russia

others will be busy buying technology from each other and eventually send man to the moon....don't know which year

China really can get their faster than India.

They already has conducted more experiments and tests.
Developed most of the tech.
If they made a push and invested cash they could get their before 2020.

But they are taking it slow so far. But that can change any time.

with the Indian manned missing being pushed back to 2018.Its highly unlikely we can beat china to the moon. And trying to force that outcome is waste of money. Responsible spending and proper testing would be more preferred.

If China really wants to stick with their 2025 window , it might be fun to see the US launch , Chinese launch and Indian launch happening within 1 year of one another.

what about Europe, japan, Iran, Korea??

Europe Has never shown intent.

Japan not investing enough or showing the interest.
They can get there but will they be next i think not.

Iran long way of they can't the already established players.

Korea not really a front runner.

I think a joint Chinese-Russian mission could be a good idea. After all they have much more powerful boosters and have a wealth of experience but not nearly enough funding.
