Well, that is perhaps a very rare example in history, and even so there have still been many conflicts between Muslims and Jews both in the past as well as today.
In fact, there are more examples of different people not being able to coexist with one another:
1). Pakistan-India partition/wars due to religious, lingual, and cultural differences.
2). The North Sudan vs. South Sudan Crisis in which North Sudanese (Arabs) enslaved and murdered South Sudanese (Blacks).
3). The current ongoing Chinese-Uighur ethnic tensions in the Chinese province of Xinjiang due to religious, cultural, and lingual differences.
4). The Arab uprising against the Ottoman Turkish Caliphate in 1916-1919 (despite both Ottomans and Arabs being Sunni Muslims).
5). The Arab-Persian rivalry due to ethnic, lingual, and cultural differences.
6). The current wave of anti-Muslim and anti-immigration movements gaining popularity within European countries due to Liberal immigration policies of the Leftist European gov.t's and the violence brought by third world immigrants.
7). The 1971 civil war between Pakistan and "East Pakistan" due to cultural, ethnic, and lingual differences.
8). The Turkish-Kurdish conflict despite both Turks and Kurds being Sunnis and Muslims.
9). Arab-kurdish conflict despite both being predominantly Sunnis and Muslims.
I can go on and on but i'm sure you get the point.
Even in Britain second and third generation Pakistani immigrants often get into violent brawls and gang clashes with Blacks despite having been born and raised in Britain:

Its amusing to see that all of these immigrant groups are fighting each other in the White Man's countries, and yet the White's are blamed for "racism" and "intolerance". Its no wonder the Whites are sick and tired of these people. I would too if Pakistan became a battle ground for different immigrant groups claiming turf in MY country, though Pakistan already is a battle ground and Pakistanis aren't really known for getting along with each other.

What cant exist together is transgression! Where people refuse to abide to anything followed with ideas and call you terms like feminism, atheism....all this cant exist side by side because each is intolerant...
Each needs to be present true...but in moderate amounts....We have people who have this theory : "its my life" ...yea fine but its the land of different people!
The problem arises when people dont want to follow a law/ rule or something.....Like tell a person not to break society dont drink and gamble...they say you are conservative (another label) ....When religion says it they object and rebel but if you are caught drunk and driving and then everyone wants to send you to jail and its fine as long as it wasnt God who warned you or asked you not to transgress...
When it says dont break families and dont adulterate (God said it...hell with it) but if it happens to your wife you go to court and seek a law to put an end to it (influential people get the lover killed while the rich just divorce with a good lawyer defaming the women) - something more acceptable? ...its just pure rebellion!
When it is said dont fornicate (God said it? **** that backward law) ...daughter has a boyfriend and you see red everywhere like a bull! Daughter has a lover and he leaves her...you want to break the guy's legs! Guy misuses your daughter you want to kill him....Why when your daughter is involved the law becomes blur but when someone else's daughter abides to a law to protect herself from such crap she is labelled everything from backward, conservative to religious (everything but being wise?)....
It has become somewhat hilarious for me now...When your law states so its fine....when its a rule you make (for your daughter) its fine...But when GOD makes it for you so you live in peace....its backward, conservative and fictions?!
I agree with what you said but this has more to do with social hypocrisy within societies which exists in every country in one form or another.
What im discussing is the different races and cultures and their differences in mentality and worldview which in most cases are incompatible with one another and lead to conflicts when these different groups of people are forced to coexist in the same community.
