Zero tolerance for Islamic State in Pakistan: ISPR

Definitely.
Then you have those "free-will, and free-mind" kind of people.
They'll never let us develop through straight and strict means.
but instead insist in a faulty democratic system which never really works out well in the start.

As you know, stupidity over weighs intelligence.
Believe me this is an overestimated fear that haunts our establishment. Surely there will be some so called liberal fascists on the payrolls of external agencies but you have to deal them very strictly. Lock them up or kill all of them. A total clean up, it will be painful for a lot of people. But nothing will happen...may be few sanctions but that is it. All our establishment needs is to get a few friendly countries onboard. China with its strategic interests will work with Islamabad whoever is sitting there and actually favour it. Pentagon is always with establishment though state department will scream and may slap a few sanctions.
Asad with support from Iran and Russia has survived all the pressure from all west and GCC despite an ongoing genuine uprising of the people against the state oppression. But he is smart and has a pair of testicles.

There is not even a 1% chance of any uprising in Pakistan. People love the military establishment and even more, they hate the corrupt junta of politicians. None of the current politicians (in govt) are even 1% as popular as BB in Sindh (just to brush your memory Musharraf' c-d-tet of Oct 12), was there any protest....NO...Actually people were dancing on the roads and distributing sweets.

Now that you mention all of that.
It is clear for us to put up such a path.

But to do that, we must remove the current politicians which will ofcourse try their best to repel against it. (Possibility of them getting hand in hand to mullays trying to start their own empire)
A military coup will bring in some unbearable sanction unless we're a self sustaining nation like russia or have a proper alliance to balance it out. (Assad's case)

Assad's issue is totally unbalanced, he did stood out yes. (With the right support)
But the opponent is on a full-funding path to annihilate Syria. So we shouldn't think of that, Unless ofcourse some big nation is trying to destabilize us by funding and arming the groups with sophisticated weaponry. (Our arch enemy isn't capable of that, not even in a century)

But in the end, Once we do that, we'll create bigger problems unless we try to fix the current ones....
