Zardari’s close aide Noor Alam joins PTI

ISLAMABAD: Close aide of co-chairman Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari Noor Alam on Tuesday Tuesday joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Noor Alam was also the Member Organizing Committee of the party and an ex-MNA from Peshawar.

Talking to the media, party chairman Imran Khan claimed that many others from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) also intend to join PTI.

“Many others want to leave PML-N but are scared that they will also be treated like Chaudhary Aijaz”, he added.

He said that new people bring new life to the party, adding that background check of the newcomers is always taken into consideration by the party.

Khan said that the Sharif brothers may look simple but deep inside they are fascists, further adding that restriction on social media in the name of protecting the sanctity of army is 'shameful'.

The PTI Chairman said: "Nawaz Sharif is so happy after the handshake with US President Donald Trump that it appears he has found paradise," adding, "it seems that he was not given the opportunity to speak in the Riyadh Conference due to the ongoing JIT investigation against him."

I think what is happening is that after 18th amendment there is less and less chances people voting for multiple parties in province. After devolution of resources now you look towards provincial capital for funds and not Islamabad. This actually benefit N who can make federal government by winning in punjab and few allies from other provinces.

They are taking lotaz from PPP and PML(N) as if its great honour for PTI and then will give lecture that PML (N) and PPP is party of corrupt MNAs and MPAs. I dont know why people dont see this contradiction. If certain MNAs did not delivered in their constituencies under PML N and PPP then how they will suddenly start delivering under PTI
