He is probably Deobandi and we know Khudai Khidmatgars or Red Shirts, the Deobandi Muslim Movement (later JUI) and the Jamaat-e-Islami founded by Maulana Maududi were some of those who opposed creation of Pakistan. They probably did not bothered to look at those events that amassed Muslims of the subcontinent to demand for a separate country.
