As for the tribals fighting in Kashmir, they looted, raped and murdered. You must know, since you seem so knowledgeable, which of these required expertise with an AK-47; since they were in any case carrying Pakistan Army .303 rifles, the matter is moot.
Then they swept up in a triumphal mob to Srinagar, after having demolished a couple of platoons on the way. They were stopped by a battalion of regulars, and pushed back by a brigade. They were then beaten back to beyond Poonch, the original seat of the uprising, and until the authorities who had motivated, recruited and armed them from among the ranks of demobilised troopers of the British Indian Army recently engaged in WWII, feared the fall of Muzaffarabad. That is where matters stood when a reference was made, by India, to the UN.
Were you perhaps under the impression that they were irresistible, and it was UN intervention that secured their withdrawal?
