Poor comparison. Becoming PM due to political connections and fighting and wining landmark cases are entirely different. I would not dismiss Devegowda or treat him equal to some crazy Pakistani.

See - Baniyas are already being fooled. Zaidu hasn't been arrested. He is in the markets of Saudi Arabia looking for the finest white stallions on which he will lead the charge.

On a more serious note, there seems to be a news from NYT that's circulating that poor ZH may be subjected to six years in the cooler and 1,200 lashes. Hoping nothing like this happens and the great man comes back to TV shows and anti-India statements.

I do not agree with your views. If he did something bad against your country/nation , he should be tried in your country following your laws.

But in Saudi, he is a Pakistani citizen. If any injustice happened to a Pakistani citizen abroad , all Pakistanis should protest. You should at least demand the justification for his detention before coming to any conclusion. He cannot be tried and given capital punishment in Saudi for a crime done in Pakistan.

I respect human rights of a person even he is Mr Hamid even after his severe stand against India. I will be happy, if he is tried in Pak and given little punishment (not capital) following Pak law for his inflammatory remarks against other sects , religions

( Like others I also do not know whether he did any real punishable crime in Saudi or not. Even he did, this should be published. It is arrogance on behalf of Saudi and demeaning for Pakistani authorities the way it is being handled)

I'm not saying KSA is pro-Pakistan, but that's what the public perception is. KSA still relies on Pakistan for it's security (even after all the stupidity of the Yemen conflict), they won't do too much to anger Pakistan.
