Other Muslim countries should follow Pakistan and Saudi foot steps to pose a considerable collective pressure that would absolutely compel YouTube to delete the videos. I didn't watch the video BTW and I hope people don't watch it because it would just increase the number of viewers.

If muslim didn't give their attention to this clown's ridiculus video then noone would know this man even existed... Muslims just played into his hands and gave him what he wanted, attention and propaganda against muslims via violent protests resulted ind death of an ambassador... This guy is nothing more than ultimate troll that trolled muslims in the world and best way to deal with trolls is just to ignore them. Muslims did the worst thing, they fed the troll...

Although, I think most folks in the Muslim World aren't too familiar with the term 'trolling'. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

There is nothing called bad publicity. I watched that video as posts against this video made me curious what is it in the video which has caused such a negative response. More attention or step taken against this video happens, more people will watch it and it may make/enable other film makers to make such type of movies to gain instantaneous popularity especially those who are struggling.

This video will create problems for govts. of Islamic nations which have good ties with West. The common man will support any action to lodge his/her protest and it may increase the Radicals' effect in the society, getting public support.

This "to do-not to do" situation in Islamic nations seems the prime purpose of this video.

It's not just the popularity part. Posters with a high number of views along with many subscribers make a lot of money through advertising. And it is very easy.

The US government cannot tell people what news to run (free speech) at most they can suggest to the news companies to hold off on their stories if they want to leak something to the press but even that is up to the press if they wish to release the story.

CNN recently ran a story talking about a video showing Libyans trying to help the ambassador, if you go to the comments for that story you can see that no body was really willing to listen. People just do not care to believe that Muslims are not all nuts, some were even saying they were cheering that he was dying when the video even has people saying lets take him to the hospital.

Trust me on that. A lot of people look upto to the saudis. Plus we need a standardized stand on this particular issue. Saudis are doing a great service by staying calm and using the proper channels of protests. Now they need to spread that message. Everything seems business as usual, no trade embargo's, oil is flowing. While in the third world countries we had most of our shops closed today. KFC and Pizza hut got their windows broken plus we have a holiday friday. A country that cannot afford any of this is not taking clues from the big powers like turkey and saudi, one was a past empire and the other is one today.

There were protests in Turkey as well (at least reported on CNN here, any Turk can clarify), I do agree that it should be business as usual closing down everything for one day is stupid.
