Its Taj Mahal.
The Great wall of China is also something which is of great importance to the ancient histroy.

But for me the Great English Channel Tunnel and the Three Gorges Dam in China are brilliant examples of modern engineering wonders.

Hell no.....as a tourist destination maybe(people literally come here to stare at billboards and buildings)....but living here is actually fun...it can beat any city in the world just because of the cuisine this place has to offer...24 hour public transport,the Museums to see....its awesome.

Ive been there many times, its great but definitely overrated.

I definitely wouldn't call it a world "wonder"....the most diverse and possibly wealthiest megacity sure...but thats like picking the prettiest flower from a bunch of pretty flowers.....its in the eye of the beholder to a large degree....and it simple cannot compare with something of which only one category exists (a great wall, an ancient mountain city, a great pyramid, a grand marble mausoleum) etc....

I've always wondered how can one be so perfectly imperfect?


Every structure which is more than a thousand year old is a wonder to me.
I love studying temple architecture.
They are many places in India which have a superb architecture but not much of it is known to the world.

Have you been to the Hoysala temples in Karnataka (Belur + Halebid)? Absolutely astounding along with Hampi. (I will refrain from bringing in TN because there are too many and I don't feel like tooting my own horn hehe).
