why there is no action against talibans in karachi?

You are contradicting yourself - first you posted a news item telling us that Taliban conveyed message to Ch. Aslam to take avenge of killing 60 of their men and then you say why there is no action against talibans? second, law and order in Karachi is provincial issue and MQM was in collation with PPP for 5 years, and it's still PPP who is ruling Sindh but yeah forget that and let's come up with more crazy theory.

I'm not a great expert in Pakistan politics though..... but If NS had to choose between MQM & TTP, who do you think he will go for, considering his track record & proximity to hardliners?

For other smaller issues he would side with the hardliners, but when it comes to something as big as Karachi he would rather have both flushed out of there.

ch aslam was taking action even before the targeted operation, in the targeted operation no action was taken by shahid hayat the AIG of sindh, and you can see the complementary statement by taliban and i already showed you the proof of no operation against talibans

well PPP interior minister zulfeqar mirza, you can read his statements against MQM

NS and his brother have been trying to open up India-Pakistan trade. But more importantly they want to emphasize on Punjab-Punjab trade first and this was what Junior Sharif wanted to happen. Maybe they are trying for some power sharing formula in Karachi ( even this seems to be very hard to believe). But any such step will be at the cost of MQM.

Exactly... Well said. I have to be a bit careful with language while commenting on internal issues of Pakistan. But the emphasis of the visit was on to start Punjab-Punjab trade and to export Cement to India.
