What's new

young doctors strike , what do you think about bycotting emergency

.
Dude if you were ever a doctor, or any remotely connected health worker who has ever worked in a hospital, you would realize how that would never happen. Ever.

Are you kidding me? Please get real. Doctors are ALWAYS there. And seniors are ALWAYS on call. Regardless of strike, floods, fires, earthquakes or war.
no they are not , i am not talking about india but in karachi pakistan and in a govt hospital does not happen
seniors go home and are on call

. . . .
us aid is one , mary stopes, hands , bill gates foundation to name a few
What are these NGOs so many of your doctors are working at? Could you name some of them please?
i never said so many i was just saying i know a doctor that works in an ngo and believe me he works real hard in that one but in the govt appointed post he has muk mka with clerks and doesnt even bother there

A pertinent question.

When an ortho surgeon starts doing appendectomies.

Thanks bro. BMGF is big here too. But mostly very senior/retired docs.
bro i am just saying know two doctors in 35 yr range basically
other than that have few pgs friends who work for max 4 hours before going to their private clinics
i also have a consultant friend who works above and beyond in a private hospital and does not do private clinic etc

Most of the people who hide behind the veil of humanity, are the first one to head home --> Sharp 04:00 PM....!!
On the dot. Without losing a single second

The same goons refuse to be posted in far-flung areas while loot and plunder at government hospitals.
This part can never get any genuine that what you have said.

Qasai se bhi battar hote hain ye loug. It has become a culture in them. Kahi se nhi lugta k itne parhay likhay hain

100-150 K salary is fair for MBBS doctors but than they must not be allowed for private practice and must be strictly monitored as doctors behavior in govt. hospitals inappropriate

.
If I had saved someone's life he wouldn't forget it for rest of his life ................. only if these doctors had such patients who would do anything for them because they think of them as their Messiahs ..................... they could have stayed in hospitals and asked their already treated patients to hold protests on their behalf. But it appears they are alone in this because saving their patient is secondary.

Any government officer who is creating a disturbance instead of opting legal course ............. should be dismissed without any compensation.

I hope you are speaking per month here?

And if you do not want them to practice after-hours (dot 4 as above), then there needs to be a pretty substantial (a mutually agreeable graded figure can be negotiated between the Government and the National Medical Association) NPA (non-practicing allowance) as fair compensation.

It would still continue to be a huge waste for the nation. To have a highly trained professional go home at 4, and twiddle his thumbs for the rest of the day, while the sick overflow onto the streets, and you pay him extra on top of the same.

Because you have to compensate a professional for his time. Its as simple as that. And what he does on his own time is none of anybody's business. As long as he is not on dual employment.

Agreed but to play the devil advocate here . my wife is a doctor at mayo .
Last 15 days she had to work from 8 pm to 10 am . every week she had a duty of 34 hours after every 4 days .

Can u quote one more government institution who work that much on 35 thousand per month ?
