I haven's read all the posts. someone might have already pointed all this.
there was country named Vietnam. half of it was fighting with itself. Then largest civil war in asia. Then there was the largest superpower came at it with its full power, allies, and immence ruthlessness.
But they were Vietnamese, a nation that had a history of fighting from mangols to french with bravery outmatched only by chechen in recent times.
They went through tremendous destruction and they suffered more than any other in recent history. I mean chemical weapons were thrown at their babies.
They had no economy, or oil. They had very limited help from outsiders. Yet they send back the superpower, her many friends, and today they are far richer and developed than Pakistan who did not go all the way against a little power called india with full heart. Pakistan gave up in few weeks while they still had the resources, Vietnamese did not gave up in few years while they ran out of resources and were destroyed to the core.
This is because even we became freed from india, we continued to live with their primitive indian culture to varying degree. Indian culture creates cowards. It always did. May be its time let go that culture. May be it is times to cut emotional ties with indian muslims who are contrary to our wishful thinking, are genuinely loyal to india since they belong to various Indian races with their own strong ethnic attachments whether "certain segments of society" in Pakistan accept it or not.We must leave all things Indians beginning with Indian movies, music, sari, and so on. The inner lust and craving for "other brown people" have to go by those who have such "skin color based attachments. This idol of skin color has to go so that Allah can take its place so that we connect based on our and other's relationship with Allah rather then something else. We have to become secure enough regardless of our skin tones (since that varies widely in Pakistan from person to person) to connect with other muslims majority countries with confidence, respect yet assertiveness. SO that some of their positive cultural elements might replace our existing ones. For that indian cultural elements have to go including urdu as far as possible. Since such connection will keep us stuck in a south Asian culture that is most coward than any other. That's the real problem.
We might have to adopt the language of Quran as our mother tongue just like Lebanese and Berbers have done. NOT because it will make us brave, though it might due its barakah if
Allah permits but at least it will help us create a separate sense of self, of a truly independent nation which will then lay the seed of true separate nationalism of the kind that made Vietnamese face their vastly superior enemies.
We need to develop a separate unique Pakistani sense of self that is based on just Islam and nothing pre-islamic. Along with it unique Pakistani identity and nationalism like that of Turkey will help generate those behaviors which are referred to as as "the warriors ones" rather "man into lady making culture of india".
Free from indian ways and culture we will be able to better help all muslims including indian muslims should the need arises, with much better and independent sense of self and energy.
We have to become a new unique Pakistan within ourselvs so that we are truely free inside of us just like we are truely free outside from india.
Only free can fight since they are free to fight and win. They are free to take things to logical conclusions since they have values that tell them where to go rather than past created inner forces resulting from having a shared history with the very enemy we want to set ourselves free from.
Only free from india can free their nation from india. Freedom does not ends at borders, nor it starts there, it begins in our mind first, then it is enacted in our thinking, mannerism and eventually in behaviors. Or we stop doing the old behaviors such as leaving indian ways and things and then what we do will shape our mind into a new sense of self. We will then become something wonderful, something else entirely. Whatever works.
