Yet another big fat lie of PMLN exposed China is giving loans, not investment !

so what honestly loans given to local companies is way way better than investment, seeing the huge returns on the projects ..!!!!!!!!!
i wish all projects are loans to private Pakistani companies rather than investment

I think he needed more words for explanation as few seconds of unexplained statement only leads to confusion. It's a massive investment of 45 billion dollars, some of which direct investment for a specified purpose to serve the long term interests of China and Pakistan. Rest of the money is a strings-attached loan to overcome short term financial crisis of Pakistan and helping Pakistan resolve its energy crisis which is directly responsible for containing Pakistan's exports and GDP growth rate. It can be regarded as loan but is technically being classified as an investment since Chinese companies are directly investing in to energy sector of Pakistan and helping Pakistan build the proposed projects in the pipeline and aims to earn profit out of the projects.

There are certain elements to this agreement such as transportation network which China needs for itself as well as energy projects which Pakistan needs to resolve and other projects like Lahore metro which the provincial government needs to resolve the traffic issues in Lahore. China will be partner in each of these projects making money out of the projects with some assurances of relatively high profit margin.

The loan is technically when you are borrowing money and doing the things on your own and are responsible for payback on time with interest. In this case, they are making direct investment with lucrative offers and guarantees.
