Iranians need not interfere in the force of nature, wherein the belligerent will fall and the liberator of the weak and innocent will prevail. Here we have it folks, Sec. Pompeo at the behest of Iranian power. We ought to give the Westerners some credit; look at what we have done in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Bahrain, etc. The US/Israel have blood on their hands... perhaps they forgot the age old axiom "what goes around, comes around."

I invite you to share your outlook vis-a-vis the potential for such engagement between the Houthis, and the potential outcome.

Yes brother, so it would seem. The Saudis are not the best fighters you see; what they lack in willpower and independence, they make up for in servility and insecurity. After thousands of Yemeni deaths, including innocent children, now they want peace?

Also thanks god American are doing strategic mistakes in west Asia. They tied themselves to Saudis that mean they will sink with Saudis if Saudis if Saudis loss the battles. American Senate is trying to open this tie but I think is too late.

there is many similarities b/w Iran and Yemen and Saudi and Iraq.

Very well said mate. They only want peace when it is in their advantage to have peace. If they can continue to cause havoc and misery and still keep the upper hand, that's what they would prefer. The Houthi's know this... and I hope they will take land like you have mentioned.

This is a valid observation, albeit in my experience it is always unwise to draw such generalizations. The Yemeni people are frustrated with war and have dealt with the repercussions that come with times of war. Undoubtedly they want this to end, and perhaps some may blame Iran for adding fuel to fire. Although, in my opinion, I ask you: are Iranians to blame for the bombs Saudi Arabia is dropping in Yemen, or the blockade of medical aids during the cholera outbreak?

I already done my survey... and interviewed Yemenis in Saudi Arabia.
One thing is for sure, they hate Houthis to extreme, they simply adress them with abusive language.
So any peace proposals between Yemenis and Houthis are going to be a be highly unpopular.

Keep in mind these are Yemenis living comfortably in safe Saudi Arabia, not Yemenis that are going through war on a daily basis. If you survey Yemenis in Yemen, I'm confident everyone there wants a cease fire so food and medicine can get through.

Fact is, no military in the world can hold land without local population support. The truth is South Yemen would like to be subservants to Arab Sheiks and the North would like independence from foreign countries.

In South Yemen you have foreign mercarnies from Arab world and Africa fighting for Yemenis yet in North Yemen you have actual Yemenis fighting. Lastly Saudi Arabia was once allied with Houthis against Saleh. So your “survey” holds no water.

Saudi Barbaria cannot buy off countries forever. One day the oil money will slowly dry up and then what is the foreign policy going to be when they cannot throw billions at people to do their will?
