What's new

Xpeng, Li Auto and Nio report woeful August sales as Chinese EV makers face weakening demand for big-ticket items

Tbh, I only care for the Wuling minicars.
BYD and other are literally too big for me.

.
What are you talking about. BYD's sales outside of China don't even make the chart.

Just because the Chinese buy those cars doesn't mean the developed world will buy them. :rofl:Look at your BYD Tang sales after like 5 years on the world market

Here's how your supa-dupa popular BYD Tang sold in the EU

Hey I hope BYD sells 1.5 million in China and 0 across the rest of the world while Tesla sells 1.499M in the world including 500,000 in China.

Sounds like the greatest plan to me!!

You lied.

In August this year, only xpeng, Li auto and NiO saw their sales decline. However, sales of other new energy vehicles increased significantly, with a year-on-year increase of 103.9% and a month on month increase of 12%.

By showing the data of the only three second tier automobile enterprises with declining sales, the overall growth of the entire Chinese market is concealed. Such lies are shameless.

yep, he lied. also, nio is not doing bad either.

But reality is BYD is miles ahead of Tesla by few hundred thousand EV sales.. The gap will growth bigger, loser. :enjoy:

Even Tesla used Blade battery, what a slap on Elon Musk arrogant and his fans.

China’s zero-Covid strategy that aims to contain the highly transmissible Omicron variant through stringent virus control measures, such as lockdowns and mass testing, has badly affected the manufacturing sector and service providers across the mainland, which is deterring consumers from spending on expensive items.
Will be interesting to see how long Xi can continue with this HIS POLICY. Since he seems to have tied his name with this policy, so its difficult to see how he can renege on it at the cost of losing political capital. I think this carry on for a couple more years since he can't just stop it like that..

There is a good reason Warren Buffet is reducing Berkshire Hathaways stake in BYD. This video explains how Yangtze Motors went bankrupt and the bubble that the subsidies created.

So the Chinese EV companies were making more money from the subsidies than actual sales, prompting them to manufacture cars that were sold to undisclosed related parties and mothballed, artificially inflating sales numbers and resulting in huge graveyards of unused EVs. They then stripped the cars of batteries and other key components to recycle in newly manufactured vehicles. Rinse and repeat.

This can already be seen with Kandi. They shipped a whole bunch to the US back in 2020 but apparently never offered any of them for sale. They then were accused of cooking their books.

Now that the CCP is reducing the EV subsidies sales are dropping, and by the end of the year they will be gone competely. Weak domestic demand and low quality vehicles that are not competitive in international markets will see the China EV bubble deflate.

losers caught lying now giving each other blowjob

Lol.. I think u are sleeping or soak in sourgrape. It's happening. Even Tesla buys BYD world class blade batteries and BYD are making record sales every month. Loser will never admit they are defeated. They have thick skinned. Lose the game and still come here and brag. Shameless!
Only because people buy the Tesla so quickly, Tesla has to outsource the batteries.

No, they will always have sales even without a subsidy...the BYD Song sales may slump but here is the only 100% EV to beat the Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y in Chinese sales for 2021.

Look out world..here comes the best of China:

It's a Barbie Dream camper!
